Tough enough for 40's?

I'm thinking if I stay focused and can work on it every once in awhile I should be able to accomplish next spring no problem. I'll try really hard. Thanks Matt.

Got the shiny new truck avenger carb today. Damn they're spendy. Extra shiny though. So tomorrow gonna put the carb on and replace the leaky wheel cylinder. Also pigtown got donated a new winch cable which is fantastic.

Matt, how come you're the only guy that posts on my thread besides me?

Successfully got the wheel cylinder replaced and the carb. Still to do high steer arms and new steering links. Also need to take care of a gear oil leak between the trans and the 203 gear box.

How do the brakes work now?

I could lie to you and say they work awesome! They work just dandy but the pedal bleeds down a little so I need to check all the connections and find where I'm losing pressure.

Next on the get it done dummy list is the anti wrap bar for the rear.

So I don't have plates on it yet but was super anxious to drive it a little. So that leads to doing stupid things. There is some blm land just a mile or so behind the barn. I almost rolled the dang thing.

I can only do one pic at a time.

That inclinometer I can't imagine is the most accurate thing but it was maxed out at 40 degrees.

I know I know. Poser shots. But I thought I would share them since it was pretty close to a flop. The pucker factor was just as maxed out as the inclinometer.

Another shot.

I see the winch line into the trees holding it up:)That is a little too close for me as well:cheers:

I think you might be seeing things. No winch line used here guy. Just super powerful glutes squeezing the foam from my seats.

I'll tell you what, though Matt. If I had rolled pigtown over and damaged the roofline I would have no problem cutting the top off. No more worries of silly headliner rear electric window and would lose a bunch of weight. Then gain the weight back in tubular steel roll cage. Some day I will have an open top pig. But not while my roof is mostly straight and has no rust.

Broken. Needs a new one.

I got to drive PigTown today, wow...Once you engage all 9 T-cases it just putters up and over anything. No gas pedal, just put it in gear and it waltzed over a 4 or 5 foot tall boulder pile like it wasn't there. It was like butter. Real, melted, soft butter; I felt like I was in a boat gliding through calm waters. Driving was simply amazing. You do need a step ladder or rolling staircase to get in, but once you're in it is literally point and shoot.
