Thanks for the video Bamabrock. I think I will pick up a cheap android tablet. Any suggestions?

Also what are folks using for their Bluetooth obd reader?

I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 (WiFi, no cell) last year from a suggestion by @Romer on another thread.

It's attached to the windshield using RAM mounts - double suction cups, tab-tite spring loaded holder, and double ball mounts.

Works well on and off road.

It's connected to a OBDLink MX WiFi (WiFi apparently runs faster than Bluetooth).

It runs Torque Pro and Gaia GPS for navigation.

Thank you exactly what I was looking for. Can you take and post a pic of your setup?

Are the double ball mounts for tilting and spinning the tablet?

I downloaded the guage setup from the link in the video description for my tablet.

@bamabrock - I downloaded the dashboard and got it installed but it looks like there are 3 or 4 gauges that are specific to the 4Runner.

Have you played with the PIDs/guage settings or updated them to be LC/LX-specific?

After downloading and looking at that text file, I can't find any information on the web on how to update it.

Yes, exactly. The arm sits on or just above the front lip of the dash.

So it's mostly out of the sun to reduce glare and can be adjusted depending on what viewing angle you want.

Since I'm setting it up today to go on a trip this weekend I'll take some photos and post here later.

Not yet. I need to get it in the truck and customize it a bit

Thanks. If you do find out how to customize it, let me know and I'll do the same.

Specifically, I am interested in the dashboard w/ the pitch and roll gauges on it. There are 3 or 4 gauges that aren't using the correct LC/LX PIDs.

@Ninja Cruiser100

Here are a few photos - the first set are with just one arm attached and with the tablet resting on top of the dash.

The second set of photos show it with two arms attached and the tablet located on the front lip of the top of the dash.

I cannot get the trans temp on my 2000lc, 2014 LC or 2007 gx. I am using torque pro, Samsung tablet and Foseal WiFi interface. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

I think I figured it out, I purchased a better obd2 that runs on Bluetooth and android. It picked up the Trans temp immediately on torque pro.

I have torque pro and an android tablet. Getting the transmission temps on my 2000 LC was not easy, but I got it done (method 2).

This afternoon I tried to get trans temp on my 2014 LC and none of the meathods will work. Does anyone have a way to get this done? I can modify an existing PID if I can find the code and formula.

Let me know what you got...thanks.

Pardon my ignorance, but can an OBDII Dongle and App monitor the same things as iCarsoft or Techstream, specifically AHC Pressures?

Anyone know if there is a data file for setting up the profile? I am at work so I don't have my info handy.

Going to jump on the revival of this thread, does anyone know while a BAFX dongle and the Torque pro app, can live mileage be read and also EOT and ECT

Resurrecting this thread.

Has anyone tried using the PIDs in the CSV file for the 4Runner in Lifestyle Overland's How to Monitory Your Vehicle's Health - Torque Pro App and modifying them for the 100 series platform? @bamabrock?

I used their setup

So, just to clarify you're using the CSV file uploaded to Torque Pro and Lifestyle's custom dashboard layout.

I see you have both a 2004 and 2000 100 series - did it work with both or just the 2004?

I'm wondering that since I've got a 1999 that's why I can't get it to work.
