Ahhh so it doesn't actually communicate with the ECU to get the pitch and roll data? It's just using the devices specific gyro's then it seems.

Right. It's how you have it mounted or how you hold the device (e.g. tablet, phone, etc.).

@Escape Artist Yeah I dont think the LC has any pitch/roll/yaw data. This info is coming from the smartphone/device in the car.

Well the AHC in my truck self levels using data from somewhere. The side curtain airbags just have some roll over sensor ... I'm guessing it's somewhere in there.
