Post # 156 from @paulbgardner states that pic is of the production bumper!

Yep I saw that. I should of clarified by asking if anybody not involved in the development has received a bumper yet.

my bad, I thought you were maybe looking for a picture not just availability

thought there were one or two mud guys who were getting in August, from Metaltech?

Hi Guys,

Haven't been on in awhile. We have around 70 of these in stock.
We have test fitted them on both the 100 Series and the LX 470. The 470 needs some sheet metal trimming under the head lights is all.

I'm ready to buy one.
What's the consensus on how many "bananas" this job is (LX470). A day?

yeah where can we get one of these?!

Thanks Phil, just placed an order and will be picking up at their warehouse this Friday, pictures coming soon!

Picking mine up Friday, and hastily installed it the next day. First impressions are the packaging it comes in is top notch, the cardboard by itself weighed like 30 lbs! The fitment and quality is on point for the price and it looks great. Install went off without a hitch and spliced in the fog lights and turn signals into OEM wiring, good to go, loving this bumper!!!

Anybody have a pic of this attached to an LX with running boards attached, preferably white?

I have a couple of toddlers in the running boards help .... My only concern is that this front bumper would look out of place on the white car with white running boards.

I'm part of the crowd that doesn't do much off-road but I spend a lot of time in my car for trips and skiing Etc and would pay a little bit for something to toughen up the look of the LX but doesn't have the money to go all out. Wish I had the money to deck out my cars but I'm just a poor single dad .

Would I be able to purchase one of these out of your Miami, FL store? And does the hitch plate support integrated winches?

Thanks!

Hi Mark,

TJM doesn't have a store in Miami. Unless it is one of our distributors.
Here is one of our distributors that we do a lot of business with. They probably won't have them in stock, but we can ship no problem.

TJM reminds me of the hot girl who ignores your calls 'til her boyfriend dumps her. A couple years ago, trying to get any info on their bumpers for the 100 was just about impossible. Some shops had a few of their ARB/Ironman copycat bumpers, but no one knew if and when they could get their hands on the T17 (or whatever they called it then).

Since then, a handful of highly-skilled fabricators have emerged in the 100/'mud community - creating amazing products developed for, not adapted to our 100s - bumpers, sliders, racks, grilles, drawers... Give a lot of thought to where you send your money. The more we support these guys, the more 100-specific product development we’re likely to see.

A hot girl that ignores my calls? Not sure I've ever had that happen:)

But I agree with all your points. At a minimum, this product could be copied and improved upon. I've met no less than ten fabricators I think could knock this out without a hitch. What's always been missing is the marketing and distribution.

That being said, I bought one. if someone wants to meet here in the DFW area and benchmark it, I'll help design an improved product.

Mine should arrive today or tomorrow.

Here is a handy link I intend to use to perform the install, courtesy of Wes @ TJM.

Removing the factory bumper was easy. Need socket wrench and phillips and plastic clips come out at the top. Gimme a day or so to install...I'm a design zealot and tech guy, and the plastic bumper is cosmetic at best. It might stop a rock or two, but ANY bullbar/bumper will be an improvement. So the product comparisons become a matter of style to some extent.

For those that have done the install, I have a question I'd appreciate some help on.

I''m not installing a winch at this point. Removing the recovery points is beyond my current non-herculean muscle strength. I just can't get the bastards off. Not proud of it , but oh well.

Can I still install the bumper if I don't remove the recovery points and install the winch? Judging from the photos I should just be able to add the plates and bolt it straight on..
