I don't think so? But I do have a small pipe with a hole in it sticking out the middle of the wheel that used to be for the license plate, I might be able to do something with a lock off of that? I am thinking a lock with a short cable would work out good for me.

Huh? I don't get how that stops thieves. Don't you just loosen the lugs and the wheel comes right off?

Anyway, mine is all one piece the Tire swing angles forward 90° and then has a plate welded to it with three holes in it for the bolts of my choice and the 1"Diameter pipe that used to have the license plate on it.

I hope to get the pics of my bumper build uploaded to my site tonight and I will share pics for those of you who didn't see it Saturday.

Maybe this will help. You can loosen the lugs all day long.. you aint getting the wheel until you get the plate off. :)

I'm sure sombody must make the bolt you need. If you thread the balance of a partially threaded bolt, it will be very prone to rust. If you end up with no other choice, make sure you paint or coat the bolt with some grease or it will end up causing you grief.

Well, I ordered a Die yesterday and it is back to Marshal's around the corner for the half thread bolts. So what do you guys think? Just some black Rustolium? (SP?)

I would spray it with some rustoleum on the part that will not physically be inside the lug nuts and use a fairly generous amount of anti-sieze on the thread.

I would not paint the bolts. Good glob of grease is better IMO.

Man McMaster's is fast, I already got the die yesterday. I totally recommend them.

X2. We order from them daily and and can usually get stuff the same day. I think they have like 95% of their catalog (which is huge) in stock! They also have customer service that is second to none. If I need something that they don't stock, they will get it for me. Usually within 8 days.
