Niiiiice. Those parts look great. Quick question about the air cleaner as I'm about to send mine in for powder coating.... Do you remove the wax cylinder/butterfly doohickey before sending it in or just leave it on there? I ask because I know that those PC ovens are set to ~400 degrees and although that air cleaner gets hot, I doubt it's anywhere near 400° . Thanks and sorry to hijack your thread again.

More taking apart and more cleaning. I got the red motor to pop and all of the blue to be beautiful.

Good afternoon of taking s*** off and cleaning and scraping. The first picture you can see it had a couple of exhaust leaks as the carbon was down under the manifold onto the red.

I'll start putting things back on now. It's all clean and stripped.

The heated valve crumbled when I pulled off the lower hose. Luckily I had one sitting here so no delay there.

Knowing the Wizard was coming out I went ahead and worked on the fuel system under the truck. I just wrapped that and he's on the final welds to get the exhaust ready

Engine bay buttoned up and looking mighty fine

Got the ambulance door weatherstrip in and installed and got the doors hung.

Went to crank the truck and the battery is DEAD and won't take a charge so I took off to town.

Got back with a battery, primed it 4x and bam. Fired up perfectly. Let it hit 160* then set the timing. Sounds perfect.

The Wizard was out riding his dirt bike and he helped me lift the freshly Cygnus painted and repaired hard top cap on. I forgot to order the windshield top gasket so I have to wait to bolt it down. It looks ****ing fantastic. This truck is spectacular.

Left to do. Work over the interior. Add the glass. Drive it.

It's done for a while. I need to knock out 3 projects before Spring Break in a month. This thing is not heading to the tundra until spring but it's almost finished.

Yall peer pressure @CarcaineProblems into getting an 8274 for this thing to put the cherry on top
