1FZ > diesel any day

you know better @OGBeno but I doubt 1FZ parts will dry-out fast. other markets got it until 2009 and those markets still get stuff for 3F “I mean OEM, the aftermarket is big too”. There is a high demand on those OEM stuff. yes the engine gasket kit now for FE only but it is only one part that you need to replace from that kit if you want to use it for 1FZ-f.

Today, in Saudi, you still can buy OEM 1FZ-f pistons and rings ready on the shelf.

If we lose pistons for example, you will still find ART making them as an aftermarket.

someone may say people in countries like saudi won’t be interested in the 1FZ-fe’s PS pump but no people would buy brand new and not rebuilding it.

Same here, same things are available off the shelf as well.

But based on my experience with the Toyota system, and prevailing economic attitudes about Toyota’s movements towards the next decade of mobility, service parts support for ancient vehicles will becomes radically different over the next 3-5 years.

You guys just have better junk yards than us. 🤣🤣

And better pricing structure for OEM parts at the distributor level due to currency exchange rates, distributor agreements with Al Futtaim, etc.

Otherwise, it’s a cheap labor difference and vehicle availability. This will all change soon as well. Just like it always has. There will be and already are many people playing the same vehicle import games.

Key will be to be experts whom deliver exceptional trucks and after sales support.

One of the trucks from the last container is done and delivering tomorrow
