Hey guys. I am back, sorta. As many of you know I sold my 94' LC a few months back. I bought a Tundra, and have enjoyed it. I love the quickness, modern amenities, and so on. But as many predicted (John), I miss the LC. Most of all I miss having just anything that I can go ride the trails with.
I am going to put my Tundra up for sale, and see what happens.
I have been pondering what to buy if it does sell. I have considered a 100, 80, new 4-Runner, older 4-Runner, and so on. I am looking for the best compromise. I think I might have kept my 80 if i hadn't built it out so much. I was thinking if i just got sliders and 33"s I might be just fine, I have even considered being open to an unlocked 80. I had a chuckle to see that Dave had returned to his 80 and made some of the same comments about running 33" tires, lol.
My last trail ride with a few of you was etched into my brain and it's haunting me all the time. I still get Toyota Trails and 4WD Toyota Owner, ouch!!!
For those of you who returned to an 80 after selling one, any suggestions or after thoughts once returning (good and bad). If anyone would like to comment on my future rig options I would love to hear some feedback.
And a shout out to Eric, who lead the way on my last ride (and waited for my late ass in Santa Ysabel, sorry again) a very nice guy, Mark who always leaves his rig parked around SD for me to be reminded, and Steve who I also had the pleasure of meeting on my last run, also a nice guy! Cant leave out John at SDTrux, who is a great guy to care for your LC and couldn't be more cool.
