Sueweet!!!!

We need to do a SD meet and greet. It's great to have another SoCal 80 in SD.

I think the last SD M&G we had was up in Oceanside that I organized, so it's someone elses turn! But I will definitely show I have no major plans on the calendar right now.

I know, I still look even though I have one. When I sold mine I didn't go near this site for about 5 months, too painful. Its just a matter of time before you get another...

BTW did you get the dog pics I emailed you?

I didn't realize you sent them until you posted. I thought it was part of the correspondence from the sale. I like both hounds but that Winston is a beautiful specimen. What type of dog is he again? He has such a sweet, but large, face.

update

Took the cruiser in to John this week. Removed the Monroe POS shocks, replaced with all OME (see signature) added a steering stabilizer. John as a courtesy rebalanced my front tires in an effort to remove an awful wobble at 50mph, Discount Tire could not seem to fix it, and a few other details.

 Wow what a difference, Those Monroes were sketchy soft, drives a race car in comparison. Feels good to get the cruiser dialed in. I am waiting on a part to fix my passenger power seat, installing the spare tire mounting pole also. There is always something to do but it's a lot of fun making my way through it.

I am planning to meet a friend out at Coyote Canyon at the end of this month, hoping it will be cool enough by then? I think/hope CC opens on the first of October? ANY thoughts??

How are the 863s working out for you?

hoping it will be cool enough by then?

It depends on what you consider cool. We went out last weekend and it stayed below 100 most of the day. Then we got caught in some freak weather and a flash flood, but that's another story.

well...

As far as the 863s I am very pleased. i had J springs in the rear and it left a pretty good rake on the rig, now its almost perfectly level. I think what i am noticing the most is the shocks, which are a HUGE improvement. It was pretty bad, dangerous honestly. Other than the spare 35" I dont have any real weight in the rear. I even removed the tow hitch.

I was hoping for 80s not high 90s. I don't like heat:frown:. BTW Eric I did hear about your little encounter...I am going to to go find the post on the other site.. sorry to hear about that.:frown:
