I won't spoil any of Sammys fun but let me tell you his rig is NASTY! The tube work is amazing as is the entire look of it. Made mine look like a mall Cruiser. Strong work Sammy.

Thank you for the lexan pablo, If I drive out to Ian to pick it up I'll let you know so you can check out the rig.
The steering wheel is there b/c two years ago ian broke that steering wheel from the force he was manually putting into it while finding is way through the Con. Broke one of the spokes.

SO! she is sitting in my driveway finally. She drove beautifully and the slee HiSteer kit with new links makes a huge difference IMO stiffens up the steering real nice. BUT Panhard must be totally cut out and removed and customized in order to do it right. I didn't get to this.
Furthermore Hydro assist will not make a debut this time around for the above reason of having to redo the whole mounting system for the panhard. Didn't want to do it then have to cut it all out and redo it again.
Like Mo mentioned the tube and metal work is UNBELIEVEABLE and I don't know WHAT i was thinking going to other fab shops. Bob and his son at Bengels are so talented I don't even know where to begin. They are the D
Stereo and electrical tomorrow, captain SloMO will be helping out with the rear end and some control arms, Paint, final run through and pack her for the trip god willing. Thanks for everyones support thus far. will try and get you all a pic or two soon.

Late nights getting things to line up. Looks like the rear winch setup is not working out at the moment, so that killer hoop might have to wait, but I'm brainstorming alternatives (the winch is too low when mounted directly above, gets in the way of articulation and uptravel).
The drive home yesterday was very interesting. As 7:30pm approached I was just entering the Irvine area. Realizing that i didn't have headlights and that night fall was just around the bend. I paid a visit to Kragen and bought a $15 pair of lights. 15min later and a few zip ties and electric tape and night driving was no problem.
Another semi late night. Thanks to Mo for helping fab a set of new rear control arms since my old ones were bent out of shape. Cruiser drives well, but the urgency of a stereo can't be stressed enough. The Howl of Nittos is ridiculous, but I'm into it.
That is just sick Sammy! I can't wait to see daylight and/or trail pics! Fantastic!

Hey Sam, why not mount the winch to the front cross bar on your spare tire rack? Hang it directly above the hoop and cut a hole in the floor. That hoop is tied in directly to he frame and should be able to handel it no problem. I can make a cover for the hole when the winch is not in use. Just a thought

While "Master" does have a nice sound to it! The truth is I just have some cool tools, and a very talented son working with me... As a father, motor head, and fabricator, I dont think it could be any better! Get out the Sawsall and hack out a hole, save the piece that you are cutting out. Make it usable for the con, and I can repair the looks of it next time I see the rig...Ready, Set, Gooooooooo!
