I thought it would be a fun idea to start a thread for folks to post things they've found leftover from their rig's PO. I'll start off.

I was swapping out my fan clutch to a new Modified Blue Hub Cluth from Absolute-Wits-End.com this evening (80 Series 1FZ-FE Modified OEM Toyota Blue Fan Clutch) and was doing a little cleaning up in the passenger floorboard while I was letting the truck warm up after the swap. I've had a small damp spot in the carpet ever since I changed out my evaporator a few weeks ago so I pulled the carpet back to look at the underside of the carpet and found this shoved up under the carpet and against the trans tunnel....this is a Samsung hands free car kit that is just bundled up underneath the carpet. Looks to be connected to power, but that's it. I've only had the truck since June, so I'm sure this is the first of many, but I thought this was a pretty good one.

In their defense there's pretty limited space you can fit that kind of stuff in an 80

Wow, that sure beats the, hair ties/clips and a spilled bag of sunflower seeds I found in mine.
I found absolutely nothing interesting hiding in mine. :frown:

The front says toyota and the back says lexus.
Lots of touch-up paint covering a badly rusted rear liftgate (around the glass).
Big green switch where the hand throttle sometimes goes, connected to nothing.
What looks to be a power cord for a fuzzbuster dangling from windshield frame.
Busted off base of a CB antenna mounted to rear bumper.
Missing flywheel inspection cover (had several of these go missing, so I can't say I'm shocked)
Some low-lift springs in the front and OME863 in the back for about two inches of stinkbug
A few mystery wires under dash and under hood
Slee harness solenoids and wiring wadded up at the front of the battery tray

I'm sure there's some I'm forgetting. My favorite finds came from my 62--picture of a pretty lady in an "Arizona" themed rubber picture frame circa early 90's. My 60 came with about 40 pounds of dog hair :o

That would have gone in display in my office next to my leg lamp.
The funniest part was I found it buried inside the dash as I was wiring up a stereo. How the heck did it get there?

Tokens for the New Jersey turnpike. Tokens haven't been used in a long long time. French fries, coins, buck folding pocket knife.

Folded up in the 3rd row seats was a nice Columbia rain jacket and a nice pair of Maui Jim sunglasses. Pretty happy with those. Otherwise just loose change and pens, stuff like that.

Mine included a free adjustable wrench in bottom of the battery tray. It was in there for maybe a year before I discovered it.

So one of the first swaps I worked on was a kid from florida and he wanted the Slee's 6" lift and when I was working on it I found out why, he had these super small condoms 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 and now we know why he asked for the 6" lift

Dog hair (LOTS)
Dog food that was actually growing in the carpet About 4 cupfuls.
$6.46 in loose change (Close, but it sounds better this way......)
10 MM socket wedged in the frame rail on DS.

Does rust count?

Found some keys underneath. I’ve learned a lot since buying that vehicle. I know check under a truck before I check anything else. Rusty-broken bolts and a broken bolt extractor will change your perspective.

Years ago when I was a dealer I bought a Subaru WRX at the auction. Brought it back and started cleaning it up to sell and found a little baggie of marijuana shoved in that crevice between the seat and the seat back. I guess they forgot to fish it out after the cop pulled him over.

Found some bullets, a used positive pregnancy test, skittles, hair bands, a bunch of keys that don’t belong to the truck, change, small rock and shell collection in the third row cubby, a necklace, dog tags, French fries and some candy corns.
