Received my pintle hook today that I ordered from Mobile Parts Inc. out of Sudbury, Ont. He has a storefront I think in the classified section. These come off of HZJ79 pickups they import for the mining industry. Very impressed with the "used" condition and price of CAN $50.00 incl shipping and the two eyebolts.

I too picked up a pintle from Mobile Parts Inc. and am very impressed with the used condition. But I'll have to double check and see if mine came with those slick eyebolts!
If not, then looks for something called a "GI chain plate." That's what the military uses. It's sandwiched between the bumper and the pintle, cost should be modest (~$20). I can probably dig out the FSN...in fact I may have posted it years ago in this thread...yep, there it is on page 2...11639657...and cattledog, too...nevermind

After searching through multiple threads, incl this one on pintle hitches/ hooks, I noticed the eyebolts. I asked him if had also had them, and they do, but he charged me and extra $5.00 ea. I'm still not sure what I'll do with the pintle hook, but the deal was to good to pass on. Maybe I'll put a female ring on my utility trailer, or get a M101 one day.

Adding my two cents. I have a m101 that I have run as a utility trailer and it is now converted to an expedition trailer.
My first pintle hitch was a ball combo
And it worked well
I then bought the Buyers 5 ton and it caught and bound up on the lunette ring of the trailer when backing up and maneuvering the trailer. It actually scrapped metal off the ring, Lots of gunshot noises when the binding released.
