I’ve been daily driving the OddBall for about 10 days straight. The 200 has been parked. I’ve enjoyed the lack of XM radio and such.

I stuffed 10 bales of long leaf pinestraw in the trailer today on the way home from the gym.

I had a crew help me put out 30 bales yesterday but they ran out so I had to do the rest of the yard this morning solo

Took the Oddball back to Brookhaven where I found it to the Toyota shop to pick up a
Hood insulator for a FJ60 I’m building

Love how big this thing is inside

The balls vent and cloth seats has put the Oddball on the top of the list for these 100 degree days. Even over the “AC” seats in the 200

Picked up my new lift today. My small tractor would not get it done. Had to put the forks on my big tractor

I blew an O Ring in the condenser line and have been without my ice cold Saudi AC for most of a month. It’s going back in cold now Baby

Same thing happened with Mister Blue, the 2003 diesel 105 that we really have not started on yet. ALL the rubber in the truck is bad from Middle East heat soak. I -intend- to go through and replace all the o-rings throughout during the restoration but in meantime...

Total of about 35 USD--and that is a 1kg can of 134A. Now in the back of the 105 as 'field spares' against a slow leak.

Made our way up the east side of the Ozarks to Woolum on the Buffalo River for the night. 80s performed well. Both suck gas like crazy.

The 1FZ with carb gets a little better mileage on the highway (13 to my 12) but this morning we filled up with 100 trail miles behind us in St Joe. Mine took 9.3 gallons. His took 12.3.

Did about 100 miles again on Friday. Spent the night in the middle of the Big Piney.

Just got out to Dover this am. Filled up. 3FE used 13.9 gallons. 1FZ used 15.3.

Couple of dry river crossings and a bad ass burger at the end in Hot Springs

You and your son? Or is someone else driving the other vehicle?

The 1FZ Saudi truck belongs to a friend and customer.

Just got home. 13.5 mpg for the 250 mile run.

It looks like the water levels are decently low. I’ve been thinking about a quick overnight around the Buffalo
Crazy low. You have to look for deep water.
