Up early with the deer and hogs. Left Stillwaters Ranch and smashed some chorizo at a local spot then decided to swing down to Dripping Springs to tour my friends brewery and distillery

The 3FE loves the backroads and low rpm travel for fuel

The OddBall80 really killed it on this 2000 mile trip to Texas. We saw the worst tanks of fuel in the high 9's going 80 mph in headwinds with a full trailer to high 14's tooling the back roads. I had zero mechanical issues. I have a loose tail pipe from a nut falling off a hanger and I believe I will install a converter to cut down on the gas smell from the tail pipe.

Other than than, it was flawless..

The desmogged Mosley headed 3FE in front of this H150 transmission is a perfect combo for the setup I have. Its an amazing truck for sure. If you would like to see the full story, click here

It was great to finally meet you in person and get to sniff around the Oddball. That is one cool rig! Personally I would like to think that between the two of us, we have the coolest striped rigs at Roundup. Too bad we didn’t get a photo of them together. Next time!

I ordered a hood insulator from my friends at Brookhaven Toyota with 12 new clips and cleaned up the last thing I wanted to do under the hood on this one. Man this old one was nasty.

A little warm weather pushed me into getting some 75% tint for the OddBall.

I’m not a big fan of the looks of tinted windows on older Cruisers and this stuff is the ticket.
The OEM windshield is 72% so it’s a match.

100% UV and 46% heat reduction (darkest legal is 66% reduction)

Nice product. Going to take the 60 in for it as well.

The UV is the key. No need to go drug dealer dark. These wagons are rolling greenhouses, so that should help tremendously in the summer.
