See now, I would lay that across the neck of a guitar I didn’t want anyone else to touch. 💡

IIRC, you play the guitar too.
Holy six string resonance, Batman! A legend knows who I am!!!

Yep, actually had a long conversation with an old friend last night (who started as a customer in my retail guitar sales days) about gitfiddles. First time in a long time that I've done that. Topic was SG's we own and/or missed and Hagstroms that he owns that I want.

Whoa...wait a minute... You've done me a huge service by getting my brain to think about my acoustics that need some humidifier love this time of year. I'd forgotten about them because the winter had been so mild until a couple weeks ago.

I need to clean 80 Series parts out of my office so I have room to break open cases that have been closed for 15+years and report my findings to TUGT.

Nice article in the current TT john.

This brings back a memory...

I'd almost forgotten about this guy who came to visit a neighbor a few years ago. So glad I took this pic, but I wish I'd stopped for some closeups!

Necessity is the mother of invention, so genius, if you ask me. Though that trailer hitch is not a rated recovery point as so many assume.

Interesting toyota IFS info on lift vs articulation

So my 1/2" spacer 1" lift is the best of both worlds!?!?!?!?!

Good video to explain the suspension.

Yes but also no. If you have whatever truck he was using (GX?), yes. If not, then you'd have to do science and stuff to see.
In the 200 forum, I've read about a Toyota OEM 10mm (3/8" in freedom units) front spacer option, which seems to be in the same ballpark as the videoguy.
(Too lazy to check his vehicle but it was in the GX/4R/FJC family)

edited to correct size of OEM spacer to 10mm

Great videos. Makes me feel good about my KDSS with the 1/2” (12mm) spacer. Happy to hear I’ve got maximum droop with this setup.

In the 200 forum, I've read about a Toyota OEM 30mm (1.2" in freedom units) front spacer option, so I would assume that it won't reply on the shocks as the uptravel limiter, even though it is a lot more than the 1/2" spacer video guy suggests in the GX(?)

Yeah- this applies to GX, 4R, FJC, Taco (maybe?). I wouldn’t be surprised if the 200 has more leeway and better droop and can benefit from larger spacers. I have heard about the 10mm (1/2”) OEM spacer for the 200. Did not know they have a 30mm option. That’s pretty awesome if true!

I could be wrong -- memory is the first thing to go -- could be wrong on the #

@afgman786 you have the skinny on this?

And here are the numbers I’m finding for stock:

LC200
front 9.05" (4" on down stroke and 5" on rebound)
Rear 9.45"

120/150 family w/kdss
Front 7.9” (3.8” on down and 4” rebound)
Rear 9” (? Having trouble finding exact number)

80 series
8.1" front
8.9" rear

Corrected my post DK. The OEM spacer is 10mm. Some folks (TeCKis300) are also running a 30mm rear spacer, which is the number I had stuck in RAM.

Surprisingly, not a Heep or Mustang

Reminded me of this classic

If you're gonna pass a cop on the left side breakdown lane, might as well be dramatic about it.

And then this recent favorite
