Grand Teton in winter is totally worth the trip even though most of the trail is closed. We basically had the whole park to ourselves.
A big plus is that they allow dogs in the winter!

Pretty happy with the LC lately. Feel like I don’t really need much besides some fine tuning and typical maintenance.

My dad had a 2000 while I was learning to drive and got my license. I’ve compared every other vehicle I’ve owned to that truck. I had a ‘98 4Runner a for a while, then a ‘12 4Runner and finally made the decision to pony up and get a 100 series. I live in Northern Utah and have some Toyota/Cruiser buddies and bought this truck from a friend of a friend. ‘01 LX with 183k miles with lots of records and equipment. I’m excited to re-kindle the relationship I have with UZJ100’s and spend some time in this truck before I decide what needs to change.

I'd say not much needs to change, enjoy it as is. Congrats!

...dealing with a stalling issue. Hoping a new OEM MAF will fix it once and for all, I'm sure it's tired after 247K miles.

New MAF has it running better and not dying randomly, but still wants to stall on first start when it's cold or starting with no accessories on. Also idles around 500rpm with no accessories, seems low to me but not certain. Off to do some research.

Enjoying the 18s vibe while I can. Will be downsizing to my final wheelset @ 17s and eventually upsizing the tires to 34s from 33s. I’m a dm away if anyone is interested in the wheel+tire set tpms included.

Took her skiing in the French Alps a couple weeks ago—we went from very, very little snow to so much snow in about three days…parking lot pics from several day of the drive…
Also got more salt on her than she’s probably had in her entire life😩

Pic request...just curious

Sock Height
Sliders
Roof Rack
No aftermarket bumpers
18" wheels if you have em

Thoughts?

I may or may not have spent time sitting in the O on that big hotel sign :grinpimp:
Thanks...looks like mine now. I'm looking at adding sliders/rack...side steps are already off. Curious how mine would look.

@TimTX It’s an awful set of pictures but 18” 2004 Land Cruiser rims on my ‘99 with factory roof rack and White Knuckle sliders. TPMS sensors removed.

I will get a lift once I drag on something. The slider’s will facilitate the slippery slope to a lift and larger tires. I have always looked at a roof rack as plan b. After all else fails and I have to stow internal crap on the roof so I can carry out all my heep buddies.
