Got out and got it dirty for a change. Long weekend spend at Windrock in Oliver Springs, TN.
Made it out with virtually no damage. New bushings will be innthe near future.
Also, can't explain how great ATRAC and heavy throttle can move this big turds up a sloppy, peanut butter mud trail.

Grr. Once again I lament the lack of ATRAC. It’s not quite a big enough miss to sell the truck and upgrade but it’s DEFINITELY a miss. Here’s how I did in the PB.
Good times. Cool seeing all the DLC guys I don’t get to see in person very often as well.
ATRAC works up until 2000 RPMs, then it cuts out. Keep it under 2000 and it will continue to work.

Slippery slope there to maybe a regear, front locker too, etc...
I have a general poverty-driven policy on not tearing into not-broken stuff. Usually. Sometimes that rule bends, but (waves hands) all that is a big ticket.

It snowed for the first time this year on my local trail, so I had to check it out. It wasn't too deep probably 5 inches at most, LC handled it like we were on dry pavement

Its an interesting look. Wouldnt it have been cheaper to just to an HID retrofit with Depo headlights? I think that could be pretty easily done for under $1k. The round headlights would be what like $1200 maybe? How is the light output?
