Land Rover: "If it's not leaking, it's empty!"

Seriously, sweet old school D90.

What are the silver boxes over the rear fender wells? Are they window boxes for flowers?:)
Tree sliders, as in when you lean the truck against a tree you slide along them, very popular in the UK where a lot of our tracks can mean doing just that. The tyres pictured on that 90 are 36x12.5 Simex ET II's, you can squeeze those onto a 100 if they're 16's ;)

Are those not Simex tires on the D 90 as well? And where did you get it?

What size lift if any?
Looks beautiful btw.

No lift. No torsion adjustment. I took the 100 to ACC (The Land Cruiser shop in Atlanta) planning on adjusting the torsion bar. We looked at. Walked around it. Looked some more... Decided it looked good as is. For now. If I do anything, it'll be front and back - not just the torsion bar.

I just could not imagine those tires on the 100.

tyres... lol

Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD

those tyres are just mean. i love em.

Also, where did the 90 come from. Is it yours?

Awesome!! How do they hold up, do you use them on the road, or just for the trail. There are a set for sale in the classifieds right now in the US. Do you think traction is better than a radial swmper?

By the way, what is the bump in your hood?

My 100 is a DD so the Simex were weekend warrior only. I've since swapped them for a set of Cooper STT's for some longer distance trips I had planned. I've had quite a few sets of Simex and they don't last well for twisty highway work but you can have some fun making them howl :) Never owned any swampers, getting those in the UK is a bit like getting Simex in the US by the sounds of it. The Simex are cross ply BTW and are a squeeze on the 100 and I have a 40mm body lift but they're a lot of fun. Bump is for extra cooling.

Summer Fun. Our two new Perception Tribe 13.5 sit on top Kayaks on the Green Machine.

You take those to the Hooch? I'll keep an eye out for you... would be tough to miss!

Mine looks like this as often as possible. (Except for a few extra dents since this pic was taken )

now there's a bumper I don't recognize! is that just a ARB sahara without the hoop?

Maybe we need to have a 100s paddle on the houch day...

I also have another boat if someone wants to tag along.

Got a great deal on some PIAA 520s that I plan on converting to HID. Got them cleaned up and installed just in time to head out to a wedding on Lake Sinclair. The misses was two glasses of wine into the evening by the time I tried to snap a shot of the new setup and would not get out of the way!!! (She calls us Land Cruiser nerds).
