This will count as my "Remember when" picture, e.g. "Remember when my Land Cruiser was all shiny and perfect..."

Sooooo it's NOT a 100. But it's what I have been driving all week. It's a D90 RHD Turbo diesel 5 spd. Sits on 36X12.50 Simex , front and rear bumps, skid plates, lockers etc. All the goodies. But no A/C LOL. I took the 100 to lunch today and it hit me....my god ye 100 is a work of art, even a fat, overweight one! The thing is a blast to drive. And the reaction is priceless. The turbo sounds dead sexy.

I will say this. It's fawking slow

It's cool, but you should be banished... :flipoff2: Is that fresh oil I see?????????? Go figure...

Yea. Fresh as poured in and leaked out. See all the little drops all over the place? It been in the driveway for 8 months. My 100 has sat in the same place for 11 years straight everyday and not one drop.

straight shift with the left hand, that would be interesting.

Takes a bit of getting used to. Nothing to bad. As long as you keep the turbo going it will keep up with traffic pretty good. Once you loose the boost, a wheel chair is faster, no joke. Going from 1st to 3rd helps keep the boost up and that godly turbo whistle howling as you bellow black smoke everywhere and listen to 37" SuperSwampers howl. It's a blast, would never want it as a DD. But nice trips around town it's fun as hell.

One for the D90 (d90's are the greatest Rover built IMO. We Toyota owners can let a few D90 pics invade our thread, I can take responsibility :) )

And a cool picture of a 100 from some offroad Aussie mag

What are the silver boxes over the rear fender wells? Are they window boxes for flowers?:)

Dude, you have me beat. I have not a single clue what they are. They are aluminum though. I will look at them tomorrow. I poked at them when I got back from dinner in it and couldn't piece the puzzle together.
