Save like 90 lbs and increase your clearance too. I don't carry a spare either, just the plug kit and a satellite radio, one of my homeboy will come get me haha
It’s funny, I’ve always prioritized having a full sized spare. But in 30 years of off roading, I’ve never needed one.

It's an anti-Murphy's Law double jinx. The second you get rid of it, you'll get a sidewall blowout.

A spare can also be a pretty handy recovery tool also. you can use it as an anchor or if you're stuck in the mud you can run your winch line over it to pull up and help break the suction of the mud etc.

Parking at my daughters track meet turned into a LC gathering. I'll take this over a frog on the windshield any day.

Fellow Okie! Would love to see a side shot with those wheels. My mother lives just down the street from Union

I hate to make a new thread for this and since everyone's sharing photos here I thought I'd give it a shot. Can anyone who has a 2000 model year or maybe a 99/01 post some clear photos of their motor bay? Specifically looking for passenger side upper corner

I've got some factory wires unplugged up there and what looks like missing components, trying to figure out what the prvious owner did and whats missing

AHC. Either it was equipped with AHC and removed or it was never there and the plugs were never used. You'll likely find a lot more unused plugs if you poke around as the same wiring harness was used across different 100 series variants.

Also, it's very helpful to add the year/make/model of your 100 series to your signature so your questions can be answered more effectively.

Ahh that's good to know. There are aftermarket wires all over my motor bay and a lot of what looks like professional splices. I added my signature, good advice

Edited this like 12 times trying to get the pics to format. there are indeed deadend plugs all over my motor bay, although i dont have many clear pics

For some reason all the grounds in the car are wired all the way around to motor to one point too, i've never seen that before

Grounding "upgrade" thing alot of Import (JDM) racers did/do is probably what that is if it's anything like the stuff my friends do to their cars.
