Don't get too excited, the new stuff is not nearly as cool as your new 60!
I just got the mounts tonight for the last thing left to bolt on, so your going to have to wait another day.
Noop can't make it this year, definitely shooting for next year though!

Updates
So here's the new stuff I mentioned before...
-4+ front bumper (thanks Georg!)
-Smittybilt 8k winch I got in a raffle a few months back
-one 12" dual row LED bar and 2 3" floods from explorationoutfitters.com
-A set of new OME Nitrocharger shocks and steering stabilizer
Plus a fresh oil change and 4+ U-bolt flip kits for the front and rear that I haven't installed yet.

We went down to Pismo and had some fun driving the truck around, meeting more 'Mud members in person and beating the crap out of some rental ATV's. It was really cool that several people came up to me and introduced themselves saying they recognized my truck from this thread; that really put a big smile on my face.
Some of you that went might have noticed the blue BMW stuck in the sand; that belonged to one of my friend's that didnt feel comfortable leaving it parked near the beach entrance, and who was influenced by KWalkerM's "Nah, you'll totally make it to camp" comments.

While he was busy getting the BMW stuck, I backed up without thinking and had a little mishap with the ATV trailer I towed down...
We didn't get onto the beach until after dark, so that didn't help...

The wrinkle goes all the way up to the gas door and the exposed metal at the bottom is a hole that the corner of the trailer gouged. Going to try to pop the dent out tomorrow morning, still not too sure what I want to do about the hole.
I've considered chopping the quarter panels and doing something like the pic below getting a bumper with quarter protection, but I think I'll wait to do this later down the road when I have a more solid plan on what I want to do with the truck.

LEDs galore on that front bumper! Sorry about the rear fender. I ran over 2000UZJ's styrofoam cooler a few nights ago if that helps in the slightest. And rusty has the rear quarter panel cut and bent like that if you want any pics/measurements if you ever choose to take that route.
Very good to meet you Machinest. It was good to see your rig in person and see all the new stuff on it. Hope to see again!

If your referring to the interior panels, I used 1/2" medium density fiberboard (MDF), but if I had to do it again, (and I probably will), I would have used a much thinner piece of MDF, or better yet, plastic or aluminum sheeting. And if your wondering if I ever finished them, the answer is no. I never quite found a latch I liked, and I couldent decide on a configuration I liked for a door accessing the storage space. I keep telling myself I'll get around to it someday....

Time for another update I suppose...
I took a camping trip to Yosemite in February where it rained non-stop, which was cool. A few of us went to Badger Pass Ski Resort one of the days, and I figured out how to ski on my own after two runs, which was also cool.
A few weeks later I noticed some water drops coming from the bottom of my dented quarter, after opening the rear inside panel I found this....
I think it has been leaking in from the fuel filler where the panel got tweeked and cracked a little seam sealer. I've got to try to get that sealed up soon.
Somewhere in this timeline, I left the truck at Georg's shop in Stockton where he fixed my EGR issues, replaced a leaky seal in my power steering gearbox, and replaced a damaged pinion flange.
Recently I added ProCar seats. They are considerably more comfortable than the flat and worn out stock seats
After a week or two, I realized that black vinyl gets REALLY REALLY hot when you park in the sun... so I got some cheap seat covers.
Today I did a little tinkering with the ignition timing (I play around with it waaaaaaaay too often, and when I did it last week I forgot to disconnect the vac. advance lines before setting it. so it was waay too retarded.
) I also replaced the PCV valve, and added an oil separator to catch any oil before it goes into the intake, hopefully helping keep the engine cleaner in the long run.
When I changed the PCV valve, I expected it to only take a few minutes, but the rubber grommet/gasket was cooked solid and broke off at the barb, leaving from the barb down lodged in the tube... so it took a while to dig out with a knife.

Super easy install, just unbolt the sliders from the old seats and put them on the new ones and install the seats. Cost is around $600 for the pair, although I got them when Summit Racing was having a sale and was able to get them for about $570.
