Look what I found under the dirt and gunk on the back of my frame! The original paint still looks great! :D

BTW, if you ever need wire brushes, go to Harbor Freight, I got a handful of brass brushes in different sizes for a total of $4,

Post up if you decide to try the trick I shared to straighten the panel out.

Michigan; no, you shouldn't have! I don't think you could have picked a worse state to go to for rust problems, what were you thinking! lol My Dad grew up in Detroit, so I've heard the horror stories with the salt. Luckily though, my 60 was originally purchased 10 miles from where I live, at Stevens Creek Toyota in San Jose, so its been in my area its whole life! :D

Shane; if I ever get around to finishing these panels, I definitely will.

Replied in your school thread. PM me if you want to chat after work since you're local to me. I can likely give you a ton of info and referrals.

You got to be kidding man, please get some pads at your local dealer they should be affordable.if you want a discount PM me and i'll get a pair for you at my cost.:D

the pedal covers are fine for now I'll get some factory ones soon, this is just because of the rain yesterday, I was slipping off of the clutch.

Temporary fix for a stupidly simple problem, plus I thought it might get a laugh here on mud.

Good. And I did laugh :)

I'll be getting a real sticker soon too....

Good!

Nah, it was more fun ridiculing you in person.

Besides, I've been busy w/ stuff going on at home and a couple repairs to my ride. (Dash Swap and Shocks Finally)

 Your reaction when you noticed it was priceless. I told myself I would wait until I got to 250 posts before I ordered one of the decals, and I'm almost there.... so i'll have one soon.

I didn't realize exactly how much work you have into your 4Runner until just a few minutes ago when I followed the link in your sig. What was that cardbord in the back in one of the pics for?

I have been enjoying your thread, great info!
Now for your bike, hope you get back on one soon. I don't know what I'd do without my
09' Kona Stab and 10' Felt Compulsion :bounce:
Ride on...
