Here's Raven. (Yes, seat's jacked way high for climbing, rarely in that spot for long.)

Hey machinists!! Great work on that bumper... Those mounts are a pain to work with, I know because I currently have a bumper in my bed room I'm working on lol

Nice KM Norcal... I need to get my rear end to Auburn this year to try out the trails there. Was planning on it last year but could never get people together for the ride and I am not a big fan of trying places I havent been to before, let alone by myself (though I do wear a RoadID so they can at least identify the body and notify next of kin :) )

The Machinist Gets A Job

I got a call today from one the the places I sent my resume, and the next thing I knew I was touring the shops and talking to the owner of Engbrecht Tool Inc. After talking with them for a while they decided they wanted to hire me and we worked out the hours. I am going to be working from 4pm to 8pm for now, but I will switch to full time when I graduate.

I really like that this company is run like a family, and all the people, that I met anyway, are pretty nice. The owner is even into motocross and mountain biking... kinda thinking I should have kept my bike now.....

Oh, and he likes my truck.

Congrats man! This should help with the cruiser funds a bit I'd say!

Congrats dude. Always nice to find a company that is willing to help out with situations like that and then pull you on when you are done. This will definitely help the cruiser fund and now you can start putting a little away for a new bike. Saw that Titus will be releasing a 29er El Guapo in the near future!!!

LOL... would love to but seeing as I am over in Carson City, NV would be a little harder for me to get over there. We could always schedule something when the weather starts to clear up a bit (with this weird winter guess that isnt much of a concern). Would be awesome to get a group of IH8MUD'rs together that ride!

Do a cruiser/bike run somewhere!!

It would be hella rad! Leave rigs at the bottom and wheel one to the top somewhere and ride down, then wheel bak to the top rig!!

Ah you lazy downhillers!!! You need to work you ass to the top!!:flipoff2: No wheeling until after a days run, the work of getting to the top via your own leg power is the benefit of getting to ride the downhill!

BTDT, heck, ask MikeyH and RyanC about my wife doing Sticks and Stones on accident following us on her bike (big-time beginner) She made it through only to fall over while yelling at us in the lift line.

@gregnash, not a KM, 2nd-Gen 1x1 completely built by me. :hillbilly:

Cool getting that gig w/ Engbrecht Tool Inc. :D I was just down there this week and gotta head down again Friday morning. They are great people, tell them I'll trade wheel builds if he isn't still using Lars or Sean for bits. ;)

End Off-Topic, we can chat about bikes in person, just give me a days notice ahead so i can be sure to bring it to town w/ me.

So the question that hasnt been asked.....

With the new job you have to celebrate by buying yourself something for the Cruiser with your first real paycheck.
