The yellow/black wire with the boot will clip on the sending unit, and the boot does fit - just loosely.

The black/white wire has a female spade connector on it. That wire is substantially thicker. That's why I thought it went to the starter or maybe the coil (not installed yet) - to carry the surge of current during starting.

Appreciate all the help - I tagged everything that I unplugged, but this truck wasn't running when I got it - lots of things missing, loose wires, etc. I'm having to use the process of elimination to figure some of this out along with an extra wiring harness I bought, some of which is labeled.

found a pic with the black/white wire to the starter - i think. Would love for someone to confirm.
even the brownish cover over the spade connector matches.

Are you able to power up yet? If so, a test light/meter could give you the answer. Hook up the test light to the end of the wire, ground the other end of the test light, and have a helper turn the key to the start position. If that is the wire you think it is then the light will come on.

Another small problem: I bought the stainless brake line kit from Cruiser Solutions more than a year ago - probably when I caught it on sale. Anyway, now one of the firewall lines is not even close. I plan to try & find someone locally to bend a new one. But in case that doesn't pan out, do you guys see any problem running a flexible line for the last 10-12 inches? You can see where the hard line ends right under the master cylinder, and it needs to plug into the top/front of the master.

Error loading picture!!! Ugh. I'll try again later.

C.....

Your build is looking real nice!!

You mentioned brake lines....@Rainman builds them. I plan on getting his when I redo my brake lines.

Id probably get one that fits. Your 40 is too nice for a splice and I would hate for it to fail!! It is the only way you got to stop....well unless you use your feet.:hillbilly:

I've been leaning toward A, the wife removed B as an option. Gotta keep the boss happy.:) Anyway, I was never going for the perfect factory resto anyway, hence the bedliner, white spoke wheels, etc.

@oldschool4wheeling - Last time I looked rainman was taking some time off from making brake lines, but I'll message him directly. My intention is to get it right, just may take some time finding the right person to do it. I really wasn't worried about failure - I mean, there are flexible lines in other areas of the brake system, right?

C. Can you make the center cap blue again like it's suppose to be?

I don't know of any way to do it. I don't have a good pattern. That's why I had the TEQ stickers made. I cleaned & buffed the clear plastic center & put the sticker on from underneath. I guess it would be fairly easy to have a blue sticker made like the original.

I have come to the conclusion that this wiring harness has plugs for factory AC built in. Pretty much everything is installed (except AC) & I've run out of things to plug in. Also read somewhere on here about a 6 pin plug & a 3 pin plug for the AC.

Yes, they look like the A/C plugs for the controller.

I know all this wiring has been covered several times in the past - I've spent hours reading & confusing myself.
Could someone help with the connectors below, Please???

Any thoughts on the 3 pics above?

Also - any idea what these 2 wires go to?

First one comes out of wiring harness near fusible link - 2 black wires with white stripes.

Second one come out of wiring harness along with wires to the alternator. single black wire with white plug
