I also had these towers laying around and they will work perfect . . I have Both new Shocks or Coilovers. Still undecided on that

If you stay leafs, I vote ditch those for ford towers. Those things are massive, with ford towers they are proportional to the shocks. If you go linked, these will look fine with coilovers.

So on the Blue 40 it has the Ford Towers. They would work I just need to flip
A coin and go with something With the Fords I have to raise them Not a big deal .

Spent most of the day in the hospital yesterday and will be going back 🤦🏻‍♂️ This sucks on every level 😫. But enough cry let’s focus on this pig . Took a guess and got some headers ordered . They Fit perfect 😃. I had to cut the old exhaust out since it didn’t line up with these . These fit tighter and that actually works out better .

Now with the exhaust out of the way and these headers it looks like I just may be able to sneak a upper link in there now 🤔. Will have to get a little creative with the exhaust but I think it can work .

I think if i get a Oil filter relocation kit I will have plenty of room

None that i know of. other than my exhaust was in the way i think i will have enough room now

I got the part I needed to connect the fuel line to the carb . Then I made the fuel line from the pump to the filter . She fired right up and runs on her own now. Sounds mean with the open headers 😃.

Messed around some with the front axle. The Diff is built so now I need to get the axle ready . By luck I had 1 of the 4plus extension pieces . The 3rd is wider on this axle so that makes a problem if I want to stay leaf’s 🤔🤷‍♂️ Still not sure on that . But by adding the extension I am able to get the diff were I need it . I will take some off the long side now .

So today I figured I would try and sort out some Radiator hoses . I knew that the parts counter guy would have a melt down with out knowing if it was for a 4 or 6 cyl 2 or 4wd So I took matters into my own hands and did the heavy work 😃. I knew the ID I needed and I made some templets that would get me in the ballpark . Looked online at a few and looked like a 1974 Chevy k10 would be a good start . Turns out it’s perfect and I got both a upper and lower out of just the 1 upper hose 😃
