I've been driven by comfort and aesthetics but I would like to get a full size .40 for capacity and velocity. Until then I hope 8 rounds will be ample

Close, but it's a 9mm, so 3x19 + 1 = 58
that is an awesome package there. The XD has been right there on my short list with the glock. With all those extra goodies, that sure is awesome.
ahhh i was counting holes in the clip and adding one. Had forgotten what the XD held. Was top of my list for a while but wasnt crazy bout the feel of it when I rented one. It is a nice lil combo deal for sure.
now that ammo prices b/w 9 and 40 have/had somewhat equalized I think ill be tempted to rethink the .40. Just goes to show one wont do still need something more affordable to plink around with. Should have pulled the trigger on the sig with the .22 conversion kit when they were running their special.

Speaking of ammo. I have sheriff deputy friend in California looking for 9mm for training. I guess they do training days but the dept does not supply "training rounds" only duty rounds. Only in my great state of retards! I'm trying to find rounds to ship to him.

I can turn out 100 9mm/.40 rounds in ~10 min, costing under a nickel each, .40 cost under 8 cents...

I'm actually ok on 9mm right now, though a couple trips to the range can change that quickly. It's 22LR that I can't seem to find much of right now. I've got a couple thousand rounds on backorder, but who knows when they'll ship. I'd rather avoid paying Gander Mtn. prices if I can, but the last time I was there, even they didn't have much .22.
Funny thing is, now .380 is easy to get.

^ Purge and Sig should NEVER be used in the same sentence. Then again, I have a 716 that I am considering purging due to the current pricing
