Even if Klempsun wins this game (which will not happen) the reality of the 1st quarter is quite upsetting. (read: absolutely pathetic!!!)

I actually was impressed with Clemson in the first half. At least they figured out how to stop them. Now if they can only stop #91. That's a big fast boy right there.

They didn't have to stop him, he beat himself.

They played really well, but it just wasn't enough. I hope Parker forgets about that 1st quarter and plays the rest of the season like he did the last 45 minutes.

Really liked the way the Tigers played once they adapted to speed of GT. Wanted the win, but at least we didn't roll over and die and our coach owned up to being owned in the first half. Very good chance we could see them again...

Tough one to lose after coming back like that. Saw some good stuff and some bad stuff in that game but I was really happy we didn't roll over and give up. Teams in previous years would have lost that game 42-10. Got a lot of tough games coming up hopefully they will learn from this one. If we play them again we will win the second time. It was obvious that if we played well we are the better team and have more then enough speed to negate the option.

Man, Clemson was about 4 plays and some bad calls away from dominating that game.
Clearly CU will win out the rest of the way what with all the superior talent they have.
Parker looked fantastic. Take away those last 4 incompletes and the the 2 interceptions and he
could be on his way to all A.C.C. honors. He dang near completed 50% of his passes.

Gosh, I'd have thought one of the CU fans would have taken the bait by now. :grinpimp:
Lamecocks will lose Saturday . This one has been too close recently. UGA rolls
to a comfortable victory and sets the world back in proper order.

I saw irony, I just hadn't been here since Turdsday.
But really . . . after I got to actually SEE the game most of the interceptions and incompletes were receiver, not QB. One int the rcvr was juggling the ball about 2ft in the air and the safety just whizzed by and snatched it. Some of the inc's were flat-out drops, most of them hit the hands. Yeah some of them were pretty hot but c'mon man, this ain't backyard.

I always say the difference in a good coach and a great coach is how well you can adjust. GT was faster and craftier than CU was ready for, and they did have some luck early. But Daboo made some adjustments and the team kept their heads up and almost came back and won a hopelessly lost effort.
I heard someone say that Parker did a lot of cheerleading on the sidelines during the second half, the first half he was totally dazed.
Derrick Morgan #91 was fantastic, but he ran out of gas. By the 4th qtr their whole team had their tongues hanging out. If there'd been 5 qtrs we'd of won it. I was amazed. Their poor QB didn't even want to get off the ground at the end of the plays.

So here's one for you David :flipoff2: And that goes for you too Hole.
Anybody want to bet on end of season record? And how about headsup Clemson vs USC or -which NC loser do you back Hole, UNC isn't it? How's it working out for either of those gang of clowns?

You can't turn a team around in half a season but like Jeri said; "With Bowden when we were winning I was just waiting for the axe to fall and everything to go away. With Dabo when we're losing I'm waiting to see how they turn it around, now there's hope."
Still got a long way to go but they've got the tools. Players who can do it and the coaches to help make it happen.
Tiger football is fun again for me.

Now if the Olde (too old?) Ball Coach can turn it back from Lamecocks to Gamecocks I'll be a happier man. But the Dawgs will have chicken for supper Saturday night.

'splain that game to me? Last week UGA plays great defense against a great offense, and no offense at all.

Last night we play great offense against a great defense, and no defense?

It was very exciting... I will say that.

Sad to say, but UGA is headed for a rough year by our standards. 8-4 is my prediction... could be worse.

Was nice to see the devil lose again though... something about that just makes me smile.

About all I can say is Carolina looks better than they have in a while. If they can continue to improve they may make a better year of it than I hoped for. Take away any one of several almost fluke plays and the Cocks win that game. I never really expected to see Garcia look as good as he did, at least not this early in the season. HBC's staff revisions seem to be fruitful. Might want to take another look at special teams though.
I have to agree with Steen that even in a win Georgia doesn't look to have one of its better years.

But kudos to Marshall and Andy. Their teams really manned up to take those last ditch upsets over perennial powerhouses UConn and Stanford. Whew! They must be thrilled.

Clemson played 3 quarters of football and had a chance to win the game, USC played their asses off for 60 minutes and still lost at times getting dominated. It seems to me that GT is ranked high then UGA too, so who really had the better weekend? Will Clemson win out the rest of the season, No. Did Parker have an amazing game, No. I'd still take him over Jeff Garcia any day of the week though. Garcia has been playing for 2 years and still sucks Parker just played his second game. Plus Parker hasn't been arrested multiple time and he hits homeruns on USC during the offseason.

I didn't watch UNC so I don't know what happened there other then they squeeked by Big East power UCONN I'm sure it was an amazing display of football prowess that I should regret missing.

As you would say a win is a win. From where I sit Costal is whipping up on Atlantic right now. 4 of the 6 Costal teams are ranked. 0 for all of your Atlantic losers.

ATLANTIC CONF OVR
Boston College 0-0 2-0
Maryland 0-0 1-1
North Carolina State 0-0 1-1
Wake Forest 0-0 1-1
Clemson 0-1 1-1
Florida State 0-1 1-1

COASTAL CONF OVR
Georgia Tech #15 1-0 2-0
Miami (FL) #20 1-0 1-0
North Carolina #19 0-0 2-0
Duke 0-0 1-1
Virginia Tech #14 0-0 1-1
Virginia 0-0 0-2

Hows that for some stats to make my sub par team look good?

Wow a Clemson fan comparing their QB to a USC QB. Now there's a new low for Clemson fans.

Man I love that CU logic. Spiller for Heisman. Korn is still the second best player to EVER come out of S.C. right behind....what's his name?...Bowers or something.
CU...best talent money can buy. Home of the best P.T.I. LB in the nation. Man he can throw a punch.
Fastest WR in the nation.
But hey they do beat USC. Heck they even managed to FINALLY win a baseball game against USC this year. Basketball too.
Lost at Soccer the other night.
ROFLMAO.
Look, the difference is USC fans understand the nature and place of our sports programs. CU fans are just delusional on the other hand.

You were doing ok until that last sentence, USC fans are so fricking delusional its amazing, don't you ever listen to sports talk radio or read Gamecock Central your gonna win the SEC and National Championship this yr.
Korn is a bust so far I'll give you that he still has time though no telling what will happen.
Bowers is a beast though, he got double teamed all last yr because both our other big time d-ends were injured and he still had a good season as a true freshman.
And Ford is definitely the fastest wideout in college just ask all the guys he smoked for that 60m national championship in track. Maybe when he runs the fastest 40 in combine history this spring you Gamecocks will finally see the light, although I would have thought when he scored on you twice last yr you would have realized it.

Your right Marshall it was a new low but USC hasn't had a good QB in 20+ years so I had to compare to the current crappy one.

After Miami handed Tech their butts last night he probably committed suicide.
