I can agree with 2 and 3 but not 1. To win the division we don't need to beat GT We just need to win the 5 games on our side of the division BC, Wake, FSU, Mary, and NCST which is no easy task and then win 1 of the other 3 ACC games. 6-2 and undefeated on your half of the division will definitely win it. I don't think we will go undefeated on our half though so we will need to win 2 of the other 3 if not all of them to have a chance.

I'm just saying if he can get them ready for two one-of-a-kind games right out of the box and he gets max potential out of his material he can get them ready to do what he has to do to take down the division.
I'm thinking FSU is going to stumble around, maybe not with us-papa Bowden will want to make Tammy look better by beating us now when he couldn't then-but I don't think they will live up to potential any better than they've been doing lately, probably less so 'cause Big Bob will be SO focused on beating that punk that ousted his baby boy.
The rest of the division will be hurting each other enough for us to sneak through unexpected I'm thinking. Hoping. Dreaming?

Whatever comes I expect to be a refreshing and encouraging change for the better. I'm looking forward to it.
And even if it's just one notch better I'll be happy. I'm confident it will be that or better.
Because you know what? Basketball is going to be awesome as well. Being a CU alum just gets better every year. Wish I could say the same for USC although the hoops side shows some hope finally.

Why is it that EVERY CU fan is so obsessed with USC? If you look at any CU fan board it seems
every other post is about USC. If a CU fan talks about CU the subject invariably turns to cheap
shots at USC.

For the record....USC will struggle to win more than they lose this year again.
Many have rated their schedule as the toughest in college football this year.
Not an excuse, just a fact. A lucky break here or there and they could win 7 games.

USC gets ragged on by CU fans because they are the only other major college in the state. Period. If CU was in NC there wouldn't be an issue.

Same for the Duke, UNC, Wake, tards.

One day USC will be back on top and once again USC fans will be ragging on ole CU. In fact it might be coming sooner than later.

I do think CU is going to have a good season.

Exactly if we had another major school in SC then we'd probably only talk about USC half as much but we don't and constantly beating you like a drum makes it easy.

I know you love your team, but lets be real. Do you think UNC will end around Miami, Boston College and VT??? No I think they'll end up in the middle of the ever bettering ACC. Maybe someday the ACC will catch up with the SEC as far as having teams that are consistantly ranked in the top 10. But I am still a loyal UVA fan and anyone who plays against Tennessee.

Tarheels will win the acc this year. Going to beat down all your ****py teams.

I hope all your coaches get fired, I hope your players get caught smoking pot, UNC is #1 all the rest suck. We have the best players in the nation.

I fart in your general direction!

My dad sold all his UNC tickets to my brother. So now I get to spend this football season tailgating with JP and Chuck for a team I don't like but somehow my wife works for them and my cruiser is the exact same colors as Clemsons colors.

It's a mad mad world. Looking forward to some more airplane jumping, cornhole JP dirty sock throwing, fowl mouth teenager talking, and a whole lot of drinking. Going to be a fun year.

My goal is to take up the role of Richard this season. Especially since he was castrated two years ago and while has come to some games he never quite showed up. If you know what I mean.

Boy could I use a beer right now.

Hate to say it but the tarholes have a legit shot. I would say its about 50-50 between VT and UNC maybe I'll take like 5% from each of them and throw it to Miami as a distant third. Miami isn't there yet, next yr they will be serious again though. If UNC can beat VT then they will make the ACCCG I think.

David you've got me all wrong. I am a legit USC fan. Not taking a cheap shot, I really do wish I could be as hopeful for them this year. I was thrilled when they got Spurrier and have been very disappointed as he hasn't panned out.
I am also very excited that the BB team finally shows some promise after years of disaster. When I was there it was in the McGuire days and I still remember sitting in old tiny fieldhouse watching them play and beat UNCs infuriating 4-corner offense. David Thompson, Gary Gregor, Skip Harlicka, Bobby Cremins; those were the Glory Days indeed.
Now Jeri on the other hand hates everything about the Cocks even though she was there as much or more than me and has several degrees from there. She's Tiger all the way.

Funny thing I will say though: When I was at USC the Clemson game was a HUGE event on the schedule, and Clemson jokes abounded. When I was at Clemson USC was just another boring patsy on the schedule, a snoozer like Weak Forest or No 'Count State (who always seemed to spoil our year in those days).

I'm just sayin'.

8 days left get excited folks! :bounce:

Clemson is gonna rout Middle Tenn St, should be at leasta 21 pt win
USC is gonna lose to NC State by about 7
Wake will beat Baylor in one to close for comfort, Baylors Qb is nasty good.
UNC will whip on the Citadel, probably win by 35.

UGA 21 - OSU 17 (Line is OSU by 6)

In case anyone was interested in a prediction on a game between ranked teams :grinpimp:

Nice, I like your confidence in Wake this year. Don't know if that is a good omen or not though...

You're right, Griffin is a solid, young QB. Briles is a good coach, too.

You know me, I'll take a W no matter how close. Should be a good one, can't wait to tailgate!

Nobody outside of GA gives a damn. :flipoff2:

I just think Wake is all around a little better and it will add up, I think its probably gonna be a 3-7 point game though.

Ordered ESPN Gameplan this weekend to make sure I get maximum college football and especially CU coverage.

So, what does a guy from g-tech know about football?

Won't be a handshake... maybe a b*tch slap upside d' head.

You know footballs back when you hear conversations like this:

Erin Andrews - Coach you spent 30 of 40 offensive plays on the NC St side of the field but only came away with 7 points what do you need to improve on in the second half?
OBC - Well we just need to play a little better on offense out there.

I think if NC St had receivers that could catch they would have won the game they dropped 2 in the endzone, 2 on open deep routes, a bubble screen with 3 blockers and only 2 defenders in front. But USC played some good D all night.
