Well it was another great stomp down yesterday!!! And the football weather was great...cold and rainy! I wonder is Spurrier is callin up ESPN for a job yet to sit along side his buddy Lou. Clemson looked like an entirely different team, I haven't felt that atmosphere in quite a few years. Keep waiting for something to be posted on tigernet or clemson site on the coaching situation....Go Dabo Go!
 
Was a good game. I had a great time. Rain wasn't all that bad. Burgers and beer were great. Clemson played well. USC played well except for one player. That was #7 Smelly. He flat out sucked. For a team like USC they deserve to have a better QB on their team. He threw 5 interceptions. Would have been even more had the defense been expecting the ball to be thrown right at them. They would have been better off not having a QB. I hope next year will be better for the Cocks. I hope the new QB will be a lot better. If so CU will have a game.

It was good hanging out with the Mafia. Till next time.
 
I knew USC was doomed when Smelley was named a starter and promised to play
the whole game NO MATTER WHAT. Geeeesh.
I told Lynn the score would be 24 to 6. I wasn't far off. I guessed 3 picks and at least one for a D score.

Clemson laid down another annual beating and it was nice, awesome game it was rocking in Death Valley. Good seeing everyone and knocking backa few tailgating.

Dabo is the new Head Coach we'll see if thats the right decision or the emotional one over the next few years. All I can say is I'd take him over Bud Foster, Brent Venebles, Jim Grobe or anyone else who was legitimately mentioned. I still think the best option was Peterson at Boise St but Clemson will never hire a Scientologist.

David I'll get you an avatar pretty soon here I know what I'm going to give you I just need to get it together real fast.

Tell you what how bout CU for 1/2 and Iowa for the other half? More interesting that way, give me a reason to watch the best RB in the Big # run through you guys.

Putting butts in the seats is a big card any yr but when the economy is down its even better.

I feel pretty good about this, might get it back to even, if not I hope you use the $ to heat the man cave well or heat yourself with some turkey.

You know Iowa has the leading rusher in the conference right? and we both saw what Clemson's running backs did to you.

Yep, you're right. Disappointing end to the year, that's for sure. Some crap bowl in DC against a team we already played (and lost to) doesn't do a whole lot for me.

Losing 2 of our last 3 didn't help, especially since we gave them both away at the end.

Oh well, the two guys I mentioned in post #1535 definitely deserve credit. Phonz was a finalist in Charlotte last Sunday for the Nagurski award and Curry won the Butkus award earlier this week. Some pretty good company there...

Gotta find solace in things like that I guess. Our hoops team is about to crack the top 10 and our soccer team is in the final four this weekend for the 3rd year in a row as defending national champs.

Not bad for the smallest school in the BCS...
 
Columbia Police reported that an individual attempted to "egg" Coach Steve Spurrier's home last night.

The report stated:

An empty egg carton was recovered at the scene. Two eggs hit the Coach's house, 3 eggs went over his house and hit his neighbor's back door, 2 eggs hit the houses of each of his next door neighbors, and the remaining 3 eggs were found broken on the ground near the carton. Looking at what was hit, police officials say they are considering quarterback Chris Smelley as the primary suspect.
