Your bet is way more of a sure thing then the one with Andy ever was. Especially when you consider that we are now ahead of 2 of those teams and probably just off LSU once the new polls come out. All the SEC teams still have to play one another more so some of them are gonna have 2 or 3 losses. Its pretty much over.
 
I just hope that Clemson gets to play LSU, Auburn, or Arkansas in a bowl game.
 
During the first half of the game all I wanted to do was kick Rudy's ass....With all the s*** talkin he had done I thought he had jinked us....Then we went to the wedding and a buddy was gettin updates during the ceremony and it was good to hear when we won!!

Sounds like a good time to me. Seems we always end up at the good 'ole Peach Bowl playing a SEC opponent. Looks to me like we may have a rematch of Clemson vs Tennesse in the 2003 Peach Bowl. They were ranked #6 then and we were barely top 25 material supposedly when we trounced them alot worse than the 27-14 score reflected.

I don't ever want to see LSU in the Peach Bowl again, they OWNED us in that bowl the last 2 times we met. I still remember how Faulk single handedly tore us limb for limb. Granted, we're much better this year than we were those two years so maybe there's no better time for that matchup than now. I've never heard so much Tiger Rag being played in my life. No matter what team did something good it got played!
 
We are gonna play an SEC opponent but its gonna be florida not any of the ones you names and its gonna be in the BCS when we win the conference and play in the Orange Bowl.

Just a side note Peach Bowl is the #2 acc bowl now not 3 not sure if they changed the opponent or not though.

If Florida runs the table-nearly impossible in the SEC then they will be playing the winner of the Ohio State and Michigan game for the National Championship. If Florida loses before then, then I think a Florida-Clemson game would be a great high scoring matchup.

I don't wish for anyone to play Tennessee, not b/c they're good, but b/c I just get so damn tired of hearing Rocky Top over and over. They don't know how to play anything else, even if they're getting killed, they still blast Rocky Top.

Sounds like florida state with their tomahawk chop song (whatever its called).... they play it ALL THE TIME. It gets rediculous.
 
Good luck. Of all things, Richard can't continue on the strength of schedule theme.

Temple has the longest losing streak in Div. 1-A currently at 18 straight games (5 more than 2nd place Duke). They also start 20 true freshman. That has really hurt attendance tonight here in town.

The organizers thought Clemson fans would buy up tickets but it hasn't been the case. BofA Stadium seats almost 75K and just over 25K tickets have been sold...

I think the line is 44. Probably a safe beat unless Bowden decides not to run it up.

The last 2 times you've played them you've won 37-7 both times...
 
Yeah this is a cakewalk it was supposed to be Auburn on our schedule but they pussed out. Backed out of their agreement with Clemson. We should win by 50+ tonight. Dont start on strength of schedule again you played a division 2 team you shouldnt even get credit for that win. We pick it right back up next week when we will be beating #13 GT. Youll hear all about it since College Gameday is probably gonna be here. And dont talk junk about our fans traveling, we are up to about 30000 sold now which is pretty damn good. No other team in the country can travel 30000 fans to a thursday night road game.

Wasn't talking crap. Re-read the post. There was no opinion there, all facts.

And, as I am sure you know, your quote above is a load of pure BS. Especially when the "road" game relocates from 700 miles away to a quick zip right down the interstate. There are easily 15-20 teams that could and would do the same. ;)

Tebow is going to give 'em fits however. Pick 'em game for sure.
UGA gets well vs Vandy. Cox comes in and gives Dawgs a lift.

Its not a quick zip its still 2 hours for anyone in Clemson and the only Clemson fans in Clemson are students all the old timers are traveling from places like columbia myrtle beach charleston north augusta well more then 2 hours from all but columbia. And I would challenge you to find any other team that could do that. Dont be mad cause we travel more fans then wake forest has seats in its pathetic little stadium. We'll send you a postcard from jacksonville when we win the acc. Have fun playing USC in the toilet bowl live from you suck stadium.

Congrats on a great win! Sending Temple to 19 straight losses. Too bad Duke is now 6 behind. They probably would be ahead of Temple but a purported "superpower" messed that up. Wait, who was the last Div 1-A team to lose to Duke? Oh yeah, Clemson... :grinpimp:
