The lower left bolt is not in the right place as it end up under the car in a box where it is unaccessible :bang: but no problem because it it very strong with 4 bolts.

Beautiful drive, how many countries did you tow that boat through? Looks like you picked it up in Croatia and dropped it in
Italy. The jump seat is a very good idea. Great for the 'just in case' extra people. You do have to go through a lot of inspections
though. Looks like we are pretty spoiled here in Canada, no rules about doing stuff like adding that seat. J

Cruiserpilot we went from the Netherlands trough Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and then back trough Italy= 4000 kilometer
The inspection was oke (I hate it) but there was no information about the rules so I was not sure it would pass, but just a solid mounting was enough! But the testguy left to check the computer soo that was a long 10 minutes

Finished and put the carpet and sidepanel back. Drilling trough the carpet does not work and the wires pull out when they entangle in the drill :(

fire extinguisher and life hammer should be fine.

Forgot caps, found them in my pile of trouble called a barn.

This is important fot the insurance (they will not pay if an accident with 7 injured) and the police can also do a check and make a lot of (typical police...) problems if 7 is not written in the license.
So :moon: :flipoff2: all the problem makers, it's legalized! :smokin:

Almost wrecked the 60, tie-rod fell of on very bumpy road, left side mirror hit the tree but no damage.
So lesson leaned: replace all tie-rods, not one :skull:

I did the same once. Same drag link end as you, popped out at the same time 3 studs on my front left tire cracked. Almost lost my wheel and steering at the same time doing 80km/h
Tied it up like yours, 're tighten the wheel on the three left studs and drove about 100km home.
Amazing how easy some rope and duct tape lan fix such a catastrophic failure. Lovr simple mechanics.

lol so we learned a scary lesson, hope others replace the tie-rods sooner! :wrench::repost::wrench:

One more tie rod to replace and it was a scary trip to Germany, thanks Lasse ;)

:bounce2::beer: The 2015 bushtaxi treffen!  :bounce:
More pics in the link below, very nice cruisers! awesome restorations and a lot of self supporting people with a lot of multitools I suppose

No problems and another 1000 kilometer added, kids had a good time: my son was completely blown off with the sight of so many prepped cruisers (tough cars, maybe 1000?)

So replace all the tierods at once, preferably the day you bought the car :repost:
I used two types "whattheycalled" but so much pressure it scares me :wrench:
