I didn't realize you could use Diamond Plate to cover rust on the INSIDE!

Cut off about half of the bed and you could wheel it.:hmm:

Too bad it doesn't have a stock bed on it. John

I believe a lot of 45 imported to Australia can as a chassis and cab forward. The stake bed were added in Oz. I would question the "all original" comment in the ad. The aluminum interior door panels, seat cover and wheel would make me question that. A 83 should have the insert dash. This one doesn't appear to have it. I do have a friend with a stock 84 with the bed that was imported here from OZ. It is back east and is not for sale.

Murf found an interesting post on CL about this rig...the ad is gone now.

It was my understanding that this seller misrepresented himself to the previous owner and may be misrepresenting this vehicle. But, I never looked at it...

I actually met with the guy looking at his 4runner. He was selling his Toyotas to fund a home remodel. He was just asking too much for what he had on both. He seemed like a nice guy though. I felt like he was honest.

Careful on this FJ40 stuff for sale here locally on eBay.

Have a friend that works for ebay motors in Salt Lake City.

A quick check indicates that the bidding on these is fishy, like its being bid up/won by seller, who then re-lists claiming non-paying bidder.
Some of it has been on Craigslist locally before. Photos don't match descriptions.

You can see for yourself if you know what to look for.

fishy

I thought I recognized that FJ40 from an Ebay auction last weekend. I have had very few, none that I can remember now, non-paying bidders. Thanks for the warning. :hmm:

I spy a piggie in the background

Oh man... damn you crappy economy! That rig needs to be in my driveway!

If you would have been following the advise this thread https://forum.ih8mud.com/az-copper-state-cruisers/763457-how-i-earn-more-money-then-most.html the economy wouldn't be a problem.

Got to just love banks. I have a credit card I rarely use and have never carried a balance. But they just keep raising my limit. I guess maybe some day something like this will come along and I wouldn't be able to help myself.:meh:

Phil I checked the balance in your account and you can go ahead and buy me that cruiser anytime you're ready buddy. Thanks in advance!

Marc I did some research on the term "buddy" Im a happily married man. With that said you are own your own.:flipoff2:

Will these bolt right up to an 80?

Will these bolt right up to an 80?

I am pretty sure the hub/bolt pattern would but it would probably have to be a 1991-1992 fj80 not the 93-97 fzj80 cause the wheels in the ad are 15" not 16".

**Look how many weights are on that wheel. I think I know why they are for sale now........

Not all 15s are out of the question, only most. Some guys run 15s on fzjs, but there are some rules to follow. Deals on tires for a 15 are so hard to find though, I'd rather bump to a 17.

I buy lots of non-oem stuff on amazon. (Oem stuff from CBT, naturally) Gets here FAST and free shipping usually. Found these today for $13.41. Seems cheap for even a reman pump?
They only had 2 so I bought them both (four FJ40s in the family) but I signed up to be notified if they get more.
It's for my 4/72 FJ 40
