I just sent an e-mail to a buddy in Sac that may be interested. If that's okay (he is a bronco dude so you'll have to forgive him ;) )

That's cool. I like Bronco's. If he's part of the group that meets up on Saturdays at Peets coffee, I'll deliver it to him!

I am not sure if he is part of that group or not, but I'll ask.

He's not interested. I can't believe someone is not beating down your door yet..

Whoever gets it is gunna get a great rig! My go-to stove is a CruiserDrew Coleman...

This little guy is a gift for a friend, done to try and match his yellow FJ.
I am having too much fun!

that's what I was thinking!!!

One of these years I’m planning the same type of theme...

On a side note - I'm no longer in the business of acquiring gas pressure appliances unless I stumble on something really cheap in a junk store or garage sale. But eBay sent me a good-for-3-hours $15 off $75 or more purchase. So I popped over and took a look for something I wouldn't otherwise buy.

I can't believe the prices that any liquid fueled lighting appliance is commanding. I mean just unreal. Double or more from a couple years ago. Time to start selling to thin the herd and get Land Cruiser money.

I mean they're asking almost $100 for a kerosene single mantle 214.

The prices of GPAs are high. I think because it's clear that the best days of Coleman manufacturing are behind us. The new ones work well, look cool, but are not immortal like everything made before o-ring valves. But it is interesting that the 425 stoves you can buy new, are basically as good as any 425 stove ever made. You can't say the same about the lanterns.

I recently obtained a vintage Coleman Oven NIB, never opened, with the original price tag of $7.53 price tag still attached.

Do we have any serious collectors on MUD? Not looking to make money but if collectable I would like to see it go to someone who may appreciate it or are they mainstream and I should just open it and bake some cookies?

i have one I bought new 10 or 12 years ago. Works but you really have pour the coal to her to get the temperature up - which isn't kind to the stove because a lot of heat is reflected back down. Then I discovered Dutch oven cooking....

If it's the really old style I would think it would be of some value to the vintage camper/teardrop crowd.
