Thanks to Jeremy @ Fly-n-High off road for mounting the tires and wheels. They turned out great.

Been working on alot of little bits. I should have the transmission back soon. Ordered some brake line stuff today and hopefully have that for this coming weekend. I wanna get all the brakelines installed before the motor and trans go in. Moving along...

Removed the 1980s arcade driving game style steering wheel. It will get replaced with one of those nice wood rim ones. Working on refreshing the steering column. Definitely need a new turn signal switch as it fell apart upon removal.

The vision for the Mustang is kind of a California Special....Shelby like mish mash. It's getting the Cougar tail light package....ie CS. So, I need to replace the rear tail light panel. Placed it on the car just to get an idea of what needs to happen.

Good thing I talked with the parts specialist to order these brake lines and proportioning valve. He sent me the wrong stuff. What a pain. I'll going to modify as needed and make it work.
In the meantime, I ordered more goodies. As long as that stuff shows up on time, I'll be putting the motor and transmission in this weekend.

Spent Friday helping but mostly watching a friend replace my home AC unit. Mine died last September, but I made it till now with no heat or ac.
Anyways, I got the new flexplate installed. Then connected the transmission. I got another friend coming over tomorrow morning to help install the combo into the car.

Spent some time sorting hardware and parts for the 68. Ordered some stuff. Figured out the brake line prop valve setup. Just need to make a couple lines and mount the valve.

I really like the original style GT wheels. I found a set in original paint except 1 had been stripped and got rusty. I repainted it to match the best I could. Pretty happy with the results. Got some GT caps off ebay.

Scored a nice glove box door with all the goodies off ebay. It was the cheapest one, but also the most complete and best condition.
Freshend up the shifter and got a new shift rod and all the bushings.
