If you haven't tried Skull Camp brewery - would recommend - - I have only had Knuckle Dragger, but it is pretty decent. It isn't locally available basically east of Charlotte it appears, yet - - maybe you can get in liquor stores in GBO/Triad area?

Knee Deep Cali Gold again tonight along with a MiKeller something or other and a chocolate stout something or other . . . drank too much, can't remember names. . . . .

@RedHeadedStepChild NH (VT, duh) has some beer figured out. Friend of mine in Rochester gave me another Heady Topper this weekend. Damn that's a good beer.

Indeed it is, though that is Vermont, New Hampshire's upside down communist twin. VT has been making great beer for decades now. NH has really only figured it out since I went South.

BTW if you're in Wilmywood anytime soon, be sure to try the "Firgot to Filter" at the homebfew shop. Very close to Fixal Banger, which is a more drinkable DIPA from the Alchemist.

Fixal banger? Thought their brew was focal banger and a regular IPA.
I had thought I'd tried all their DIPAs. Heady, Rapture and Crusher.

If they make another DIPA called Fixal I'll have to get my hands in that also.

YETI should know all about that....read the rant thread. ;)

10 barrel apocolyptic ipa tonight.

I was actually curious if there was one named that since they don't distribute very wide.

Another solid NH DIPA.
Bit of a fruit tone in this one. I prefer the Damn Sure posted earlier, but still a solid brew.

take it as you will... the blind taste test they do every year always places the same beer at a different score. Obviously its because different people do it every year. I'm a little suspect because of how high the rebel grapefruit scored.... that one IMHO is terrible.

It also reminded me how much I loved Jade IPA from Foothills.... gotta get a care package going of some of that.

Picked these up today; side note - Oktoberfest beers started showing up last week.....

Lots and lots of Marzen is needed. My favorite NC Oktoberfest beer is by far octoberbeast by Aviator
