Nice work bro!! Your the only guy I know that thinks of adding bling while using black rattle can!! :flipoff2:

Looks AWESOME Nice Job

I get my dumb question now... so now that you are done, how are you going to set caster? Isn't that kind of already done?

You see I made a flange style connection plate on the axle housing that is drilled and tapped in 1* increments on both side so I can adjust either one individually or on the trail depending on the terrain I will be going over. They are also marked with the months of the year so I know exactly how to dial in.

I think it's actually tied into the hydro assist to be remotely controlled from the cab via some eBay switches that he modified to be NASA spec.

Now that the front is done what are your plans for the rear? Or did I miss that part of this thread?

Btw I'm absolutely copying what you've done here. My 80 is a daily driver but we are planning a trip to the taiga forests of northern Canada in 2 years and want to be ready for anything.

Congrats man, looks great. You're going to love the linked life.

Thanks man, can't wait to get it out on the road and see how it handles!

Nice work!!! And a beer well deserved! Inspiring build.

Thanks!

I like it at this height. Turned out amazing. Can't wait to see the flex on trail!

Now when's our first trail run? I need a warm up run since it's been a while.

Thanks man, but it's metallic Black Night thank you very much :flipoff2:

Thanks!

Jose, the truck looks amazing. I'm darn near awestruck by how well put together that looks.

Thanks! I need at least one more nice photoshoot before doing any real wheeling.

Amazing build and attention to detail

Great Job Jose!!!!

FLEX BABY FLEX!!!

Thanks Frank! Your turn now. Would make a great addon for your company vehicle :)

Not a dumb question. I set caster initially but it may have changed now that it's on its own weight and the ride height is different. The beauty of a 3 link is how easy it is to tune the suspension by making the links longer or shorter. So to change caster I need to adjust the upper link. That rotates the entire housing either up or down. I kinda want to to wait until I get the new springs in the rear since that may change the caster again.

HA how do you come up with this?

Awesome! I'm anxious to see somebody else jump on the 4WU bandwagon. For the rear I have 5" OME comp springs and 2.5" Radflo shocks to be installed. One of these days I'd like to redo it all like the front but this will have to hold me off for now.

Rubicon next month!

That's what I'm talking about....

Maybe smaller test run is in order to shake out any bugs... Close to home like up signal next weekend...?

You guys should do it! I'm probably not going to get to wheel again till Rubithon myself due to home projects, kids end of school and... Blah blah blah. *sigh*

looks great! Get used to it though. It will be a bit unusual to wheel at first. Frankly, you have to retrain your brain since the front was so stiff it was like driving by Braille before.

Why didn't you go crossover instead of inverted t? Your knuckles have the holes for it...

Thanks! Inverted T is the only option. The inner steering holes can't be used because of the panhard bracket. And running steering link on top of the arms limits up travel way too much, unless you were to notch the frame. This kit is made for an inverted T if your run Hellfires.

@jcardona1 What did you do for your breather lines? I saw where you extended them - did you have to change that setup now that you have more travel?

Looks Great Jose. Been really fun to follow this and your build thread. They're both a great resource. Thanks for documenting the process so well.

Now that it's all done do you think you added any weight or is it about the same?
