For those with the screen partially blocked, teyes posted a video to fix this, but they show cc4 unit. Maybe same procedure works for cc3?

@lohdaj, is the teyes panel supplied because the display needs a different bezel/trim to maintain an "inset" look, and the lower controls and the upper bezel are one piece, and so there is no choice but to replace those lower controls? I ask because I am wondering if there's a way we could mount the teyes unit in front of the facotry bezel/screen-trim, perhaps with a 3d-printed bracket/trim to make it look clean. This would allow 100% of the teyes unit be accessible, and ideally not have to replace the lower controls at all, keeping the facotry color.

Also, FYI, looks like the CC4-pro is out, and I asked teyes if LX570 is supported, and they confirmed it is. I am thinking about ordering one to experiment with the bezel idea.

It’s true that I also thought about trying to fit the Teyes into the original bezel (with the buttons), but I haven’t had the chance to test whether it would fit there, or whether it’s even possible to separate the panel from the OEM unit and at the same time from the Teyes unit.

On top of that, the Teyes top-row buttons have different functions than the originals and are labeled differently, so it would be a bit of a mess (OEM is climate – audio – map – dest – info – disp setup, while Teyes is fan- – fan+ – climate – mode – dual – phone – mute). Still, if it were possible, I could live with the mismatch in buttons, because the original look would be worth it.

Anyway, right now I’ve got the Chinese version of Grom Audio VLINE in my AliExpress cart. It comes out to just under 300 USD, and I’m strongly considering hitting BUY :) (link here – https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008823902220.html)

Also adjusting offset is great, hope it works with CC3. And I see CC4 on ther website, but not yet for LX (CC4 - https://www.teyes.com.au/collections/cc4)

Bought a cc4pro for my 2011 Land Cruiser and have zero audio output. I’ve tried dozens of of the aux cable combinations and still zero audio from the unit. Called a shop near me to see if they can assist with the install but they said the JBL audio amp is such a pain and said I’d need to get a new amp and then quoted me $900 for the amp and installation with the cc4pro.

My friend has an LX570 and his cc4pro audio worked perfectly right when he installed it. I’ll see if support can help, otherwise I’ll either return or bite the bullet on the new amp and professional install.

Yeah I’ll hit him up and see if he can do a write up on this thread. He got everything working on it once he switched the CANBUS settings. He never had an issue with audio on the cc4pro.

For my LC however, I took it to a stereo shop and they couldn’t get audio working either. They said it wasn’t triggering the JBL amp and told me I’d need to install a new amp to get it to work with the cc4pro. On top of that, the plastic molding doesn’t even fit. I’d have to do some modifications and trimming to the plastic to get it in there. Very frustrated with this unit due to audio issues and molding. The units video quality and touch response are amazing however.

Keep us posted, LX people will be very interested.

For you, could you do the Hamilton full screen replacement?

Haven’t heard of the full screen replacement but I did have the Hamilton car play unit with the factory screen and didn’t like it. I wasn’t able to swipe on the screen at all. Works for CarPlay navigation like Google Maps or OnX, but that’s pretty much all it’s good for in my opinion.

I thought they had one but I guess I’m wrong!
