I am debating picking up the Phoenix with Android 9 Fastboot for our 2010 LX570. Their website states that the "Factory Backup Cam is not retained". Not sure if the LC unit has the same issue. Did you replace the backup cam? How about the front camera? Does that work? Does it support wireless carplay or does it require USB?

In my previous Lexus GX460 the reverse camera was not retained, as Lexus uses a different voltage for power.

I can tell you the factory back up camera does work in my 200
Thanks. I read somewhere that the LX570 uses 6V for the backup camera while Toyota uses 12V. I have not verified this but the Phoenix website for the LX570 does say that the OEM camera will NOT work.

Yeah I read the same on the Lexus forums and this was the case for my GX460.

Lx570 2009 backup camera is 6v. Just by the 360 camera kit and retrofit that.

Good idea and I find it odd that Lexus 570 runs a diff voltage when the cars should be identical in that category.

I thought abt the 360 camera system from Ebay or Amazon......Thoughts? I am sure any aftermarket camera would be better than the stock 08. My front/rear Dash cam rearview mirror is crystal clear in 1080P

I looked into getting a 2nd rear view cam aftermarket to put on my swing out. Recollection was it was six volt and hard to source. Easy enough to run a 12v via a relay or step up, signal path isn’t hard to solve.

Pretty sure the LC camera is 6v too.

So once you place your order you will receive an email with a link to an app called “Arrive” which is basically a third party tracking app. since it is being shipped from China. Crap - the Corona Virus epidemic just crossed my mind. 🙁 I suspect there will be delays, don’t think an Americans stereo is at the top of the priority list. Anyway the app picked up my purchase so that I can track it. My only concern is the app runs through Google who requires you to sign away your rights to email/address and phone number to third party venders so you can’t track through the app. That bothered me quite a bit. I have already waded through sketchy sites selling this stereo to have Google want your first borns info. I am not a conspiracy person but all I want to do is track my order. Here are the pics of the app.

Ok sports fans it is getting more real - I was notified that the stereo has shipped. So far thumbs up to Phoenix for providing communication. Currently, the “Arive” app just
says shipped where for the last two weeks it said processing. We will see if it provides tracking during the route. Just a reminder - I am posting every interaction from start to instal finish so that people will know what to expect when dealing with Phoenix and an Android infotainment system.

I am excited that the stereo has reached the US and is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I must say that I am really pleased with the "Arrive" app that Phoenix uses to track packages. Not only does it track your package but it also plots it on a map all the way from its origin in China. Really cool.

Be careful and cleanse anything from overseas especially China my friend. Looking forward to seeing the install

The box 📦 has arrived with the stereo - it is in great shape. I will definitely do a cleaning of the box just as a precaution. I am excited about doing the unboxing - it will
Be this weekend before I get to it. Until then this is the primary video I will be using to learn how to take the dash out:

From China!? I'm cleansing anything I touch outside of my house in Nashville these days. Went to Zaxby's for lunch today and used a Clorox wipe on my drink cup after the drive-through girl handed it to me. I thought about wiping each fry down but thought that might be overkill. 😉
