It turned out lovely with the 255/86-16s and new OEM Steelies.

The 300# of old tires and wheels in the back made it ride as smooth as an 80 with the parabolics. If I owned one of these I would be figuring out a way to add permanent weight.

I like the 255/85/16 size. I have this on the Ute and 235/85/16 on the troopy. I always liked the 235/85/16 size but now with both sizes side by side I don’t like the 235/85/16 anymore

Well, you asked for it... I went looking for some intel on 1FZ tuning and performance mods but most content (MUD and FB) is pretty specific to engines (1FZF, 1FZ-FE US/OBD-I and OBD-II, 1FZ-FE coil pack, etc.), a particular topic (turbo, supercharger, etc.) or vehicle series (70, 80, 100, 105). Not to crap up another great MUD thread, but I did a thing on Facebook regarding 1FZ tuning and performance mods - covering all 1FZ variants and vehicle series.
