How is everyone mounting the RTT to your cruiser? Will my 80 stock rack hold it or do I need to get aftermarket rack?
The factory rack will not be adequate for one of these tents. You'll want a rack or load bars rated at a minimum of 150lbs. Most racks and load bars weight rating are for dynamic loads (vehicle in motion). The static load capacity will typically much higher than the dynamic load rating.

I've used a pair of Thule bars for tents in the past with no issues. But there are lots of excellent roofracks out there that would be excellent as well. I personally like the Prinsu rack the best for the 80 series. But BajaRack is another good choice. Front Runner, Gobi, Gamiviti are a few others that come to mind. Lots of rack options to choose from.

TepuiFest 2015 Report!!
What a blast! We don't know if it's the off-roading, the live music, the campfires burning 24/7 or just the joy of camping and playing games with your Tepui community, but something keeps on bringing so many familiar faces back to Hollister Hills for TepuiFest, and we love it! And of course, somebody must've told somebody else because we were equally glad to have made a bunch of new friends this year. Thank you all so much for driving out to Hollister Hills again this year for TepuiFest 2015!

I'm going next year for sure.

The mounting is either a u bolt to a roof rack cross bar or a direct bolt to a rack like the Frontrunner rack anything else factory roof would be questionable wind is a vicious thing on the road.

Is this a question? I'm not sure I know what you're asking or saying here.

Think he maybe replying to my question?

FYI for anyone here that needs to get a hold of me this week regarding tents, I'll be in Mexico for the Baja 1000 with intermittent cell coverage and internet access. Feel free to leave me a message or text at 8017108110 and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can.

If anyone is going to be at Jeep Safari next week, I will be set up outside the Gearheads shop on Main Street all day Saturday (3/26) showing Tepui Tents. I'll have a couple different models there to check out and can answer any questions and take on the spot orders too.
.
I'll also be at Cruise Moab a few weeks later with the same stuff (as well as some raffle prizes from Tepui) for the smart ones that avoid Jeep Safari and go to an actual Cruiser event. :hillbilly:

If you don't follow Tepui on FB you may have missed the announcement of an exciting new product. Custom Embroidered fitted sheets for your RTT. I just got a set of these and they are really nice if you prefer to sleep with sheets and blankets instead of a sleeping bag. The benefit of these over standard bed sheets is that these are custom fit to the tent mattress with cutouts around the hinges for a perfect fit versus standard sheets that are made for much thicker mattresses and just don't fit well.
Now your Tepui tent will feel even more like sleeping at home in your own bed! 310 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton

What 310 count!? the wife will go ballistic anything less than 600. J/K @Box Rocket I could care less my self but that is a great addition to your product line.

haha, seriously 600TC would be so much better. :) Sheets aren't for everyone and many are just fine using sleeping bags, but from personal experience, sheets and blankets are "the bees knees" as they say.
