thanks pablo, I already have it back together, I didn't notice any oil squirter. I have the oil slinger on correctly to oil the seal and gear. I think I just overtightend it the last time. Thanks on the steering box, however the 40 is different.
Thanks

Here is the t408 pewter metallic

It's just duplicolor, nothing special. You will need two cans. The plastidip that the po applied was a pain to peel off.

I am installing sor knuckle rebuild kit with bearings, just to clean up the grease discharge from the felt seals. One side the knuckle bearings looked great, the other side only had slight wear. I wanted to do some painting of the underside, but first I am going to install a fj60 box.

Here is a pic with the box and shock mount. I rebuilt the box, which wasn't too difficult.

Pablo, it looked like it when I received it. I was told it was tight, and it looked good inside. I wasn't going to paint everything only to have it leak on me later. The box I received was never open, and it only took a couple hours to fix.

You mean the steering box was never opened? How can you tell?

I see you went with Ford shock mounts. What shocks are you going to use? Something I haven't bought yet.

How does the steering feel?

Scrap, I haven't had the wheels back on yet. I ended up cutting the tower to fit my brand new oem spec shocks. Then I got into replacing the whole brake system. Then dropped the spare and the tank and am replacing all fuel lines and had tank boiled. I am about to cut the exhaust out and paint the underside after grinding and sanding it. Then stock manifold and new exhaust so I can put a pto winch on. Thanks for looking!

Man, you've been busy. Tell us some more about those lights, LEDs? Something else I haven't bought yet, just not sure what type to go with.

You're doing a good job! I like the winch.
