Wow it looks strong enough for me to stand on to get to my roof rack to fetch 20L gas cans.

They've been around a little longer than that. Good for a party but can fill in as a work bench too...A heritage feature that's been core to the 60, 80, 100, and 200 series.
ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! It would have been my dream job location as I wrote/managed software projects. After 10 days of rain and a Memorial Day washout, I made a spontaneous decision to go camping Sunday to WV. Had a few work calls this AM at camp in Dolly Sods Wilderness. No cellular coverage but Starlink for the win.
The tailgate is my desk and hatch keeps the sun off my laptop screen. Tailgate is one of the most used items on the truck.

This post reminds me I need to turn my phone 90° more often so I can pay more attention to yalls signatures. My location tells you everythingIt's by far the most useful feature on the rig.
I'm not wild about the 250 series but if it had a tailgate I would probably feel a lot differently.
Looks like your buddy lost his pants.
Has anyone brought up the pew pew? Tailgate makes a great spot when outside. Plus you can always hide a side piece in that back panel![]()

It’s nothing fancy, the trail tailor locking tailgate thing, which I now can’t find on their website, and some foam from Amazon. The pews are. S&W performance center 629 44 mag, a Ruger SP101 .357, the white one is a pistol I built a few years ago that was part of a his and hers matching set for my wife and I from Santa. Her’s was the white one and once we got the Cruiser it made sense that it would be the Cruiser pew. It’s a tight fit in there for the white one so I have a QD mount for optics and some MPBUIS. The brace is a maxim defense that accepts a captured spring so it’s super short and can fit in there. Oh, and a Geissele because I like my lobster extra buttery.@Artie need more details on that setup! Thats badass!!
My submission, new Bow day the other day..
