Tailgate Party

It’s nothing fancy, the trail tailor locking tailgate thing, which I now can’t find on their website, and some foam from Amazon. The pews are. S&W performance center 629 44 mag, a Ruger SP101 .357, the white one is a pistol I built a few years ago that was part of a his and hers matching set for my wife and I from Santa. Her’s was the white one and once we got the Cruiser it made sense that it would be the Cruiser pew. It’s a tight fit in there for the white one so I have a QD mount for optics and some MPBUIS. The brace is a maxim defense that accepts a captured spring so it’s super short and can fit in there. Oh, and a Geissele because I like my lobster extra buttery.

It came out great! May have to see what I can come up with. Ive got a few things id love to have tucked in back there.. My G Super Duty comes to mind 👍

I found a local (Southern California) guy who built this drawer system for mew which I am very happy with. I've had very few issues with it to date and it's been all over the southwest with me. I did buy an adjustable mono pole to support the drivers side drawer as it extends quite a ways out but haven't had to use it much as the slides do hold the weight quite well.

Sleepy daughter on a hunting trip about 13 years ago. Tailgate did the trick! No interest in the new LCs without a tailgate. Also- Still have this 100 after all three of my kids drove it in high school 😄

Artie you been holding out on us.
My buddy just got these foams laser cut for his kit. Would work awesome in the tailgate.

That looks sharp! I cut mine with a skinning knife just tracing around the items. The toughest part is the fact that the inside of that space isn’t flat, it dips down lower on the sides and you have the latching mechanism in the center to avoid. One of those 3D scanning tools paired with a laser cutter would make it look really nice.

Yeah but it absolutely sucks for loading dogs
You and Siberian keep saying this...agree to disagree. I no longer use the ramp in this pic, but a set of folding stairs that reach perfectly for my old Malinois. Easiest platform ever and gives me an elevated surface to wipe paws, check for ticks, or sit with them and watch the world go round on any surface we stop on.

Raining tonight and my kitchen slide out extends past the awning. Tail gate to the rescue.

Full send that one is. Summer with no bikes or whitewater has been harder, but good news is wheeling is still ok. Gotta have a diversified portfolio of family adventures!
