The best soaker, ever, by far, is:

Drum roll...

Mouse Milk Penetrating Oil!

As you may have guessed by now, I highly recommend it. It's VERY light and will run into spaces PB Blaster would never reach, like the threads of tight rusty bolts.

I have worked for several airlines and they all kept plenty of Mouse Milk in the maintenance hangers. If it's good enough for them...

You can find it online at:
Aircraft Spruce
Chief Aircraft
Skygeek
Amazon

Oh, come on guys, don't be silly! It would take way too long to milk the mice by hand!
They use tiny, tiny milking machines, of course.

Honestly, I don't know what the A&Ps used the Mouse Milk for. We pilots would always work on our old vehicles at the hanger. Lots of access to great tools and great know-how from the A&Ps (Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics). They were the ones who turned me on to the stuff.
I got my start flying DC-3s and Beech 18s. On most flights the combined age of the pilots was less than the age of the airplane. I'm sure there were fasteners on those planes that had not been removed in 60 years. Maybe not rusty, but might benefit from a little persuasion.

I got mine loose with a torch - just apply heat to each screw for approx 1 min and you'll find that the screw will come off easily.

BTW, I am in need of these bushing ASAP ( all I need to get my 79 on the road is tailgate reattached) so a PART # and LINK / URL is so very helpful.......
