Well fellas after some deep thought and careful deliberation I believe I'm going to have to withdraw my name from the list of attendees. Ridiculously high gas prices are making it impossible for me to afford the trip on a college student budget. Plus with being away from the cruiser all summer I have yet to do the wanted/needed mods.

Well it is offical the Marines have fxxxed me again. I cant come to the cruiser rally or the Swin-0-rama. I will be in Quantico doing my 2 weeks for the Marines. at least I only have 1 year left.

I know the way it is brother..... I got tired of the crap and went to admin and put in for inactive status. I had already served the require time thru active duty. The command was PO'd, oh well... they should have allowed me to carry on with a transfer to another command as a Marine Corpsman. They were being true asshats... all my paperwork had been signed for the transfer... they told me I had to serve with them for another 18months... yeah right...

anyway sorry you wont be there.

Actually Mike, I got a very interesting offer from Jeff Zepp on Friday, which is why I'm trying to find out what's going on with THIS event. Seems to have quieted down quite a bit.

Ok, so I think we all need an address and directions. Are we supposed to be there Friday morn, or eve? Are we all truckin up to the Rising Sun Rally on Sunday morn?

We're in. Coming in friday, looking for some wheelin' on saturday. Stock, open drivetrain on the pig and a 16 year old driving, so 3+ trail would be cool. Where and when in the springs are we supposed to meet ?

sorry guys.... for those that arent up to date... i just moved again.... we had an emergency move to another house due to issues with the landlord not fixing some things in the house.... so we left.... i have no phone or internet at home... i am writing from work... cant stay on long... i will have details posted tomorrow on where to meet and how many people should be in attendance.
