Itinerary seems a bit vague. List of attendees, wheeling day- trails. Is friday or saturday for meet and greet. Are we caravaning to the rally on sunday. More info would be great. Not whining, just trying to make a plan.

Im planning on being there friday afternoon like 6 or 7. I will be camping there. so whats the story on bringing my dog? I have heelers, are there any cows? or is it just pigs. never have herd of a total expected to show. I know several have droped out. We have to have more than the east coast run.

saturday is wheeling day... most people that have gotten back with me arent even going to be showing up til late friday... that leaves us with all day saturday and then overnight and then up to the swap meet on sunday.

you can bring your doggies.... as for cows.... will.... there will be COWY members at the meet. :)

I think I'm going to cry :(

I thought the PIG PARTY was in October?!? I am so bummed. I wanted to go SOOOO badly. I have a new (crappy) pig that I am trying to strip to the rails and rebuild with a 4BT. I was going to quiz all the 4bt 55s...I really am going to cry. I am on a fire assignment and can't go now. :( I am so disappointed. Post pics. :(
Stasia and her GRSDPIG :(

Saturday Night, Whatever yall want to do.. (im guessing roast the pig)

Sunday i will be heading up to the Ralley.. we will Caravan up at about 9:00 A.M.??

Sound good??

NOT COOL!

This is starting to sound like an awesome event and now I found out I can't get the work off to come. I want to cry. But pig owners don't cry. Maybe next year, I guess.

like I said earlyer, I will be there but I might not be wheeling my pig. I have yet to work out the bugs in my cooling. It runs fine on the road 180-190 but a good hot clime or wheeling it hits 210-215. not good:crybaby: this is on my 4bt install. the electric fan is not enough. I got a tarus fan but I don't have the clearence. I only have 3 1/2" between rad and motor. infact the fan that was put in has wear on the housing from the motor. any ideas?

Caravan to The Rising Sun Rally

We are Getting together a Caravan to the Rally from the Springs..

We will Be leaving From North Acadamy (Mc Donalds Parking Lot)

Meeting their about 8:30, Leaving By 9:00 AM Sunday Morning

If the Piggies Want to caravan up with us, they should leave Justins by 8:00

My pm have been cleared...

The hog was cancelled due to people not getting back with me so we didnt have an idea of how many people were actually going to show. I sent out pm's out more then two months ago asking for a head count and then again just over a month ago.

Now that I actually have a job and only go to school at night and internet classes I have some money. No longer in poor student mode. Isotel has been helping me with most of the event. Next year this will be better structured.

Hard Core Trail Option for Saturday

For those Pigs that dont mind Dents and Dings..

Rising Sun will be running the Independence Trail System in Penrose.. Very cool Trail, And Home Grown (who knows the area well) is leading the run!

Here is the Thread with info on this run

http://www.risingsun4x4club.org/forum2/showthread.php?t=1922

From the Post
"for the hardcore, tj from the homegrown crew will lead indy/penrose. this is a 5 rated trail. please make sure your rig is setup properly for this trail. lockers, larger tires, geared, etc. meeting point is in castle rock off of wolfensberger road at the gas station on the northwest corner at 9am."

Penrose is about 30 Min South of Colorado Springs, Send me a PM if you intrested in the run, and we will make our own meeting spot and meet those guys down their..

any of you pig folk that haven't preregistered, today is the last day to save the $5 and be guaranteed a shirt.
