Where's it at??
Matt
It's in SLC as luck would have it.
Little update, while not cast in concrete, it may be what happens. I have 2 boys 1 is 23 and just finished his 1st year of Law School the other is 18 and may need a Lawyer. The 23 year old has walked the straight and narrow and tried to do all the right things (let's not talk about what I was doing when I was 23) although he has some real world experience because I drug him around with me. Shane, the older one, has a college buddy who lives in LA who he wants to go see. The plan is for him to fly to SLC, drop down to Vegas and then on over to LA. After that back across I-40 to Arkansas. OK so we go from no adventures to a big one all in one fell swoop. He is looking for a co-pilot, maybe his brother, to take a ride with him.
I think it's great, almost, he will be flying into SLC to get in a 1975 FJ55 that I have never seen and was going on the word of the owner that it was good mechanically, I still believe it's the case but now that my boy is in the picture it's a little different game. He is a really good kid, smart, polite, witty, hard worker etc but he missed out on some of the "mechanic'in gene".
I am trying to contact anyone and everyone along his route who has a love for old LCs and might be able to help him if the need arises. Anyone who happens to read this if you happen to live in this direction or have friends who live between(or near) SLC to LA then from LA headed I-40 West would you please contact me with a name and number that he might take with him for emergency sakes. I can't express my gratitude enough but I can tell you if you are ever passing through Arkansas and need help with your LC I'll do my best to help you out.
Departure, tentative, July 31st
