Hey everyone, I would like to know what's involved in starting up a club in far east Tenn as I have run into several Toyota guys that wheel here but do not belong to a club and the closest club is 2-3 hours away from here. Also the state of Tenn has bought Doe Mountain for a off road park I think it was 8600 acres about 30 miles from here.:D that might make a good multi club event in the near future. Anyway any info would be appreciated.

thanks
lee

Get a group of 5 or six together, get Woody to give you a club area here on mud, contact TLCA if you want ot be a recognized chapter (they have certain requirements) and you can contact Roger directly to talk to him about becoming part of Southern 4 Wheel Drive. Have a monthly meeting and go wheeling.

I pulled in the driveway tonight and shut my truck off and........... I HEARD ANTIFREEZE GUSHING ONTO THE GROUND. Damnit !!!

It was time to change the oil in the 100. I had a valvoline instant oil change coupon, it was raining & I just didn't feel like working so I took it in. $65 bucks later I realized I made a mistake. The guy printed out the "recommended mfg specs" & I couldn't believe the mileage! Evert 15k diff fluid change? Lol

you should have pulled out the manual and showed them what toyota recomends

Looks like I'm gonna take the radiator out later tonight after everyone here goes to sleep. My dad is gonna take it tomorrow to a guy to see if he can fix it (fingers crossed)!! If not looks like I'll order a new one along with hoses, belts, thermostat, and water pump ! Goodbye $500. I guess I'll have to wait on my Trollhole carb for the 40 :(

Going to the LITTLE RIVER in Walland TN Saturday if anyone wants to join in!! Time to get the canoe out for some good fishing and a little beer drinking.

you get the radiator repaired?

The guy said he would get back to me in 2-3days. Hopefully he can fix it. We couldnt see any cracks in it like you usually can so who knows.

Just got off the phone with my dad and he picked the radiator up today! The guy said the only thing wrong with it was it was in a twist which made the bottom tank separate!! Good News and $40 later it's gonna be back on the truck this weekend. The $130 OEM water pump and other goodies will be in tomorrow too.

Cheap but not real easy! Gotta take the grill and headlights out to get to the radiator frame bolts. Kinda hard when there is so much s*** in the way ( ARB, winch , lights) .
