Hey....has anyone seen a web site or other reference on running air lines from compressor to locker (ARB). Any tips or whatever on the air line plumbing side. Also any sources of cool things to have in order make this work better. I'm going to red-neck engineer the electrical side to some degree but having never screwed around with the air side of lockers I was wanting to check out any good info etc or knowledge / sources/ parts that might be good to consider.

Every now and then I'll look at the ARB web site, but I assume there may be other sources for info etc.
I can't take credit for the idea, but if I was doing new ARB air lines I would run the blue lines inside larger diameter clear vinyl tubing for protection.

Delete the arb crappy air line and use 1/4" push to connect, high abrasion, semi air line and fittings. Way better stuff.
thanks , yea I was thinking about that. That air line stuff from ARB seems rather fragile. Appreciate the tip...

If I was doing it that's what I'd do.
With a little half gallon tank, and mechanical switches T'd into an auto meter gauge
I've got a collection of parts, to include a tank. Good tips appreciated. I found some type of bulkhead fittings too, but those might have to go. The idea of using air line from "semi-truck" world is rather appealing. thanks

Yea thanks. The ARB stuff seems rather fragile. I think I'll focus first on the electrical side and then get my stuff set as to location (tank / compressor) then on to the air side. I was thinking there has to be some focus on protecting the air hose side both from heat / too much flex or not enough / and potential damage from limbs / mud whatever else to the extent possible.

NP. I got all my stuff from mcmaster carr. PTC fittings, 1/4" high abrasion air line, pneumatic switches to eliminate the ARB solenoids as a failure point, soup to nuts. I carry some line and unions with me in the truck for field repairs, but in the past 5 years, I've only had to repair one line once.

This was posted in the expedition/trail events section, but it may be of interest here too.
