I haven't found one yet. Seems like the only english speakers are the transplants.
I sent my partner home yesterday as scheduled. I was told late in the afternoon after already getting a new plane ticket I might have to stay longer. Wtf?

Posted from a brick.

Ok its been almost 2 weeks and I'm officially sick of BBQ pork lol.

Are we still considering some GSMTR planning at Windrock the weekend of the 21st of Sept?

Heifer-net

we have a ride scheduled for the cove for the 27-29th but are considering moving it to WR if you guys go, that is assuming no-one minds us crashing the party. :hhmm: The thought of taking a bunch (6-8) relatively green guys to the cove w/o "local representation" is not my first choice especially since we'll be missing one or two of our regular guys. :meh:

Just a note, the September WR ride is an exploratory run trying to find a route suitable for a 2-3 day/night expedition run that will encompass both WR and Royal Blue for GSMTR'14.

I don't want to necessarily limit participation, but we won't function very well with 20+ rigs. With the 2m radios we could conceivably start at both ends and work to the middle? But we were hoping for a rather small club ride to gauge time/distance for planning purposes since I'm limiting the # of trucks on the actual run...that is, of course, if any will actually follow me after last year's cluster!

I start a new thread this weekend, and please if anyone has input on routes to take or avoid, please speak up!!

Thanks

Ya coulda' just said we smell bad. :flipoff2: Seriously though, I got the gist of it offline so no need to spill the beans. We're still figurin' out what we're gonna do and like I said we have an "official" ride scheduled for the weekend later but have reasons for moving both dates and locations. Carry on! :steer:

So if I buy Erin a Samurai and put Toyota Axles and drivetrain in it, can I still post it on MUD?

I was thinking about a 40, but she has always wanted a Sami (sorry Rance) so I think I am going to look into it. We found one that already has a full toy swap 22r>trans>t-case>axles, and if I can get it for the right price I think it would be prime for a 4-link rear and a propane swap.

Whatcha guys think?
